Sighing and laughing a little at the other’s answer, he knew he should expect to wait a while at the DMV. Taking out his iPhone, he went to his playlist. Though before he was able to take out his Bluetooth headphones, the other asked a question that stopped Jaxon in his tracks.

Simply shrugging, he leaned back in his chair. “People will do and try to make nothing into something. People who can be so easily offended by something so little. Like how Vultures prey on carrions, they fly around hoping carrion will come into sight so they can feed on it.” It was a poor analogy, but he’s always called people who can pull drama right out of their ass vultures. “Though maybe they just had too much of the local water - like you said.” He lightly joked.

Watching as the other male brought out their phone while he was talking he finished talking, almost whispering at the end as he felt like he was annoying the other then. Glancing Jaxon over as they leaned back and answered Dia smiles faintly. It was true, he had experienced "Yes. Miscommunication can be the worse for everyone." Dia agreed, turning his attention away "It can even make useless enemies out of people. Who has all that time for so much hatred." Dia could understand the others reference to vultures, surely. He did like to study animals, as well as his owning an entire zoo.

"Yes, that is true." He replied quietly before letting out a breath "It's pretty sad how people forget how to be nice and respectful. Manners are becoming lost in order to feel superior." Dia muttered as he toyed with his own phone for a moment "I think that could be something to do with it." He continued the joke.

“You have always been a great friend, Dia.” He stated as he patted his friend’s shoulder. There wasn’t a time that he could remember that Dia wasn’t there when he needed him the most. They went through a lot together, which only made him feel slightly guilty about letting a gap fill between them as they grew up. Maybe, however, it is for the best - Tristian got deeply intertwined in a mafia, and what kind of friend would he be if he dragged Dia down with him? No matter what, this was going to be his life because there is nothing he wouldn’t do to protect his sister. “Yeah, you do.” He said through a light laugh. “How is your family?”

Walking in silence, he listened to his friend and couldn’t help but to think of ways to help both Dia and Rosaline. The couple deserves so much, and he owes them a lot that maybe he could help with Rosaline becoming a paleontologist, while Dia still has helped with the children. Though he didn’t want to medal too much in their already made lives either. Perhaps this is something he could talk over with Elaine. After all, two heads are better than one – especially when they are twins.

“Well, let’s set it up. I know we could all use a good family dinner.” He said. “You haven’t changed your number, have you?”

Looking toward his friend, Dia had wondered what the other might consider to be a 'bad friend' if not seeing the other in sometime had meant he was still a 'great friend'. Smiling however toward Tristian, Dia shyly nodded his head in agreement none the less. Taking the pat happily on the shoulder as he had "I am glad you still think so." Though they had known one another for quite a while, before departing the last couple of years.

At the question of how his family was he glanced away "Besides the New Years scare. Things are going very well. The girls are all pretty much grown up and ready to branch out into the world. Getting ready for college and all of that business." Dia informed the other "Rosaline is happy to have more free time on her hands now." Even though twins were quite a task alone, rather than one child at a time "Priscus is still in his magician phase."

With the moment of silence Dia had waited for Tristian to say anything before nodding "Alright. Let us do that then." He knew Rosaline would enjoy a night of company with old friends. At the others question of his number he shook his head "No. Not in a long while anyway." Dia continued to walk to the next animal he wanted to view. Stopping in front of it and watching it for the time being.

Dia had been sitting quietly at a crafting table at the art gallery. Stringing some beads through a string as his son Priscus worked on some other projects with his school friends. Rosaline were dealing with their newborns at the moment, leaving Dia pretty much on his own for the most part all in all. Distracted suddenly for a moment his string came undone and the beats dropped onto the table before rolling toward the floor “Oh. Oops. That is a mess.” He frowned a moment before lowering himself down from his chair, moving to the floor and starting to bring the beads back to him. He did not look forward to making that all over again. But for Rosaline he would do that.

Laughing lightly as he tried to attempt her name, she nodded. “Yeah, you got it better than most.” She started. The proper pronounce is veen-CHEHN-zuh. Though some say it as vence-NESS-zuh, not that she could blame them, her name wasn’t a common one and not so easy to pronounce. She loves her name, don’t get her wrong, but she does prefer Vince. Another huffing laugh as he decided to just call her Vince, she nodded and extended her hand towards him. “Nice to meet you Dia, and thank you again.” She thanked, holding up the sucker.

Sitting up a little straighter, she sat in the chair like a normal human being. Well, kind of. She tucked both of her feet under her legs, sitting Indian style in the chair. “Those are pretty good. Though, lemon meringue pie is pretty good as well.” She stated, unwrapping the wrapper and placed the lollipop on the side of her cheek, as she tucked the wrapper in her back pocket.

"Oh?" He questioned a bit nervously as she had said he almost got her name. It was, of course, not one he was very familiar with. But still had felt bad for not getting it, it did not feel well in his experience, usually, for someone to mess up your name. Though this was usually reserved for after a little while of knowing the person in which you were speaking to. He figured that he would know it better the more he spoke to the woman, if that should happen anyway "English is not my first language." Though he had figured he was old enough now to get over most hurdles such as these. But, maybe not just quiet yet.

At her laughing he blinked, his eyes shifting quickly with thought as he wondered what was so funny. Though relinquished the sucker to her none the less and nodded "Mmhm. I carry extras on me." His children often would be asking as they were growing up, for them. His wife eventually even started making him some personal ones to enjoy. Since she had not much else better to do as the children got old enough they didn't need much minding. Dia sat quietly for a moment, twirling the sucker against his cheek as the young woman in the chair beside him shifted into another sitting position.

Looking up from his lap at Vincenza when she continued he grinned a bit and gave a little nod toward her. He had tasted all kinds of suckers and the like, he wouldn't say that was quite his favorite flavor however "Yeah? They are not so bad." He gave an agreeable answer. Watching as she then a moment later placed the sucker into her mouth, he soon turned his gaze away "There's so many flavors. Though my wife makes my most favorite, herself." Dia informed, toying with the wrapper in his hand a bit.

Dia is often a weak willed man, given the situation. He’s not too prone to jealousy. But will probably be upset and hurt if Rosaline were flirting with others. Which he trusts she will never do. So the answer at the end of the day is No. He doesn’t get jealous in his relationship with Rosaline because neither have a reason to make either of their partner feel that way, or desire to let it happen? Dia feels very comfortable with Rosaline’s relationships to others not leading to flirtation, and more importantly romanticism.

They’re folivores - they eat the leaves (and sometimes fruits and flowers) of the plants that grow in the marshy and riverine parts of it habitat
