Silence Emblian

The illusory soldiers looked like spectral marauders with their see-through appearance and the ghostly fires that followed them.  They silently approached the Emblian soldiers and attacked with their lances.  Though they were mere illusions, they were still capable of wounding their foes with their weapons (albeit not to great effect compared to the Heroes).  It seemed as if they didn’t follow orders and acted on their own accord, which mostly boiled down to attacking the nearest opponent.

The Summoner then ordered his Heroes to launch an offensive.  His archer attempted to snipe the Pegasus Knights present while Effie marched forward, absorbing blows as she struck back.  The party swordsman, Fir, quickly dashed into the fray to begin cutting down opponents with her sword, while the only mage in the party, Cecilia, rode forward to hit opponents with the Gronnraven Tome and cut off their escape.

Alice knew the illusions were no joke when they could physical hurt them, granted it wasn’t as painful compared to being attack by a hero, as she tried to defend herself.

She knew the battle was lost when the Heroes joined in and bringing her allies down along with her being shot down by the archer that were firing arrows at her and the other Pegasus Knights.

The knight landed roughly against the ground along after being throw off her Pegasus whilst her Pegasus cried out in pain from being shot by a arrow and smacking into the dirt ground.

She needed a moment to get her bearing together....

The Summoner arranged his forces to form a defensive line in front of him, and not move further.  Almost…almost… the Summoner thought to himself, ready to spring his trap.  Then, Embla’s forces got close, and he knew what to do.  NOW!

The Summoner moved his right foot behind his left foot, and held both hands out in front of him, left arm gripping his right arm.  A magic circle appeared beneath the Summoner as he raised his arm to the sky.  He had drained a good portion of his life force in this spell, but the results were easy to spot.

Eight illusory Soldiers appeared in a circle around the Summoner, and they were armed and possibly able to actually fight.  The Summoner had learned a new trick to even the odds when outnumbered.  Eight illusory Soldiers, plus his four Heroes, meant that he was not nearly as outnumbered now as he was before.

The knight had to quickly stopped in her tracks when a magic circle had appeared beneath the Summoner as a baffled look came across her face before eight soldiers appeared within the circle and around the Summoner.

Since when could he do that!? This was really bad.

The summon and the heroes gathered were not as outnumbered anymore... She needed to protect this to the Princess and inform her about the new situation but first... They still needed to fight to see what the ‘Soldiers’ can do and what they were capable of.

It was going to be another one of those days for the Summoner.  Go in, break Embla’s contracts, get out.  Nothing out of the ordinary for the Order.  He brought with him a pretty normal, maybe even lower-end team of Heroes than he normally did, not because he didn’t think he needed anything bigger, but because he wanted to try out that Invoke spell he’s been working on.

He had gotten the basic principle of the spell down, now it was time to put it into practice.  His team was ready, and so was he.  Embla was in for quite the surprise this time around.  The Summoner quickly took a look at the tactical view via Tactician’s Insight.  Nothing out of the ordinary, though that Pegasus Knight looked determined to win.

Alice looked at the Heroes that the Summoner chosen as a frown came across her face. She saw that the team looked pretty normal... Maybe a bit too normal however that was not a concern considering that a battle was going break out soon.

Alice frowned to herself whilst scouting out the new world to see if it was ideal for Princess Veronica and make contracted with the Heroes that lived in the world.

She honestly had to admit that she wasn’t really fond of forcing Heroes to take part of their war however she knew that they use any means necessary if they wanted to win the war. 

Alice knew the moment she saw the Summoner arrive on the scene; it was going be one of those days... 

Then again she knew that the summoner and the Askr Army would always chase them down into many different worlds and breaking any contracts forged by the princess with the heroes.

The grip on her sword tighten as she appear herself into battle that will most likely go in Askr’s favor considering how many times they have battle with each time; Askr winning but who knows?

Maybe one of these days; Embla will win a battle and even maybe slain their worse enemy...

Headcanon already but~

Alice holds loyalty above all else. To her it’s the most sacred thing and having that loyalty broken is a huge wound... Gaining that loyalty is hard however once you have it; it’s there forever.

Alice had to admit that she always like exploring the different worlds even if eventually the princess that she served enslaved the heroes from the world and binding them to her will then the army from Askr came to undo their work.
