i don't even think dave would bully gay kids either, actually. his sister is a lesbian. so regardless of how he thinks he carries himself, i could see him being the kid that random people walk up to and say "we're like, best friends, right?"

his friend group, mind you, is june egbert, rose lalonde, jade harley, KARKAT VANTAS, TEREZI PYROPE, kanaya but she's chill so like wtv, and VRISKA SERKET!!! june is a loser, rose probably freaks everyone at school out, and jade is a furry. karkat is a guy who is vocal about his feelings and likes and dislikes, and he's loud, and weird, and also openly bisexual. terezi is a weirdo who also probably freaks everyone out. as i said, kanaya's totes chill. i can't see anyone disliking her, although she is openly a lesbian so there's that? and vriska... also probably scares everyone!
