Well actually one could argue that it mainly benefits people in the US
I know I'm being annoying but not one day goes by without people leaving "in America, where we all live..." type comments on my posts
I use ADA guidance a lot when giving people disability advice and I don't live in the USA - downstream of the ADA itself is good practice guidelines on pretty much every topic that usually goes beyond what my country recommends if we suggest anything at all. This is a case where a rising sea lifts all boats
