Refulgence Untouched: Solar Exfoliating & Uncrossing Scrub
A few drops of sweet orange essential oil (can be substituted with rosemary if your skin is sensitive, or if you want even bigger uncrossing vibes; orange leans more towards radiance)
A tea of hyssop, St John's Wort, and angelica root
It is important to patch test this, because even though the tea is very light, skin can be touchy. Angelica/St John's/citrus can make your skin more photosensitive for a bit (ironically, making you more receptive to the Sun's power...), St John's can cause rashes... It's just something I'd urge care with.
God gave you the inside of your elbow for a reason is what I mean.
The proportions of most of these ingredients can be adjusted to personal taste re: scrubs. I ended up using half a cup sugar, 3 tbsp olive oil, and a generous dollop of honey with half a cup of the tea. Whisk all ingredients together while the tea is still hot. It'll still do some separating, but the liquid component is by itself a useful moisturizer for after you've scrubbed.
In an hour of the Sun, on the day of the Sun, make offerings and invocations to the Sun to bring it down: the Orphic Hymn is a good one. Encant it directly into the scrub, so that your breath stirs the surface. Intone the virtues of the Sun you ask for-- health, healing, golden, freedom, light, radiance, luck, cleansing, brightness, prosperity, clearing, fortune--into the scrub. With each word allow the strength of the golden and refulgent First Luminary to fill you and leave you, to escape from your tongue like spiritual honey, dripping into the scrub and imbuing it with the link you've made between heaven and earth.
Add a small drop of whatever liquid offering you've made, or fumigate the scrub, to physically link the power and the potion. (I forget who it is who recommends pouring libations into the earth after they're offered to empower the sphere's ability to act in the earthly sphere, but it's been rather useful for me. As with all spirit-specific methodology, YMMV.)
Utter Psalm 51 during use for uncrossing, or its equivalent for you.
