“M-Mr. Wright? Oh…he was that famous defense attorney who got disbarred or something…I heard he got his badge back though.” His faith in the justice system was nonexistent to begin with. “S-So you’re an attorney too? Well, feel free to bring anyone you like! Children 18 and under get a discount.”

“Yeah. I cracked the case wide open in one of my own earlier cases. Once the truth came to light, the bar review committee saw no need to have Mr. Wright punished for a crime he had no hand in. And, uh, any discount for nineteen-year-olds who act like they’re twelve?”

“Um...I-I don’t think so...I’m sorry! Y-You would have to see for yourself...sometimes there’s special days so I never know what the discount of the day is...”

“Wow, I didn’t think you would know all the performers! R-Regina is my boss, since she’s the head animal tamer…Max is still there, making magic happen…although he kinda scares me…and Moe is the ring leader!”

“Well, I work with Phoenix Wright, who defended Mr. Galactica when he was charged with murder. I’ve read through the case file, so I have a rough idea of most of the key players in the circus. Or, the ones from back then, anyway. But this is kinda cool! Maybe I’ll bring Trucy and Athena and Mr. Wright to come see you guys! I’m sure they’d love it.”

“I’m an assistant animal trainer for the Berry Big Circus…it’s a pretty famous circus that’s been around for years! I always perform in a clown outfit, but I do most of my acts with the animals.”

“Awesome! Man, I’ve heard a lot about the Berry Big! Is Max still performing there? How about Regina and Moe?”

“Wow, I didn’t think you would know all the performers! R-Regina is my boss, since she’s the head animal tamer...Max is still there, making magic happen...although he kinda scares me...and Moe is the ring leader!”

“You need to see my act…maybe that will change your mind. You’ll have to buy a ticket, though.” He tensed up. “I-I don’t think that’s possible? I’m just trying to live a normal life…keeping a low profile and all that!”

“Maybe I’ll do that. Do you do street performance or are you with a circus?”

“I’m an assistant animal trainer for the Berry Big Circus...it’s a pretty famous circus that’s been around for years! I always perform in a clown outfit, but I do most of my acts with the animals.”

“I-I’m not THAT depressing, am I??? I would be out of a job as a clown, and that can’t happen! Nowaynowaynoway!!”

“Certainly ain’t making any smiles over here. You’re… familiar looking.”

“You need to see my act...maybe that will change your mind. You’ll have to buy a ticket, though.” He tensed up. “I-I don’t think that’s possible? I’m just trying to live a normal life...keeping a low profile and all that!”

“Only two things in life are certain, death and depressing clowns.”

“I-I’m not THAT depressing, am I??? I would be out of a job as a clown, and that can’t happen! Nowaynowaynoway!!”

this is the face of “I hate my job”

there are days where you just can’t write properly. you have the muse and motivation, but the words won’t come out the way you want them to, and that’s OKAY. it happens with every writer, every roleplayer. you do not have to feel bad for having off writing days. if you don’t want to work on replies but work on your blog, it’s fine. don’t worry about it. everyone gets these days, and it’s okay.

“...That stuff? W-What do you mean by that??” 

“It’s always good if you can stay out of scenarios like that: heck, I’m the attorney and I wouldn’t want to be caught up in that situation. I wouldn’t stay around too long if I were you, otherwise you might have to come back here: so if you don’t have anything else to do here, it’d be wise to see yourself out.” 

He wanted to gag upon saying that, but fought back that urge and closed the door behind him. Apollo Justice...he was certainly a very interesting person.

“Well, it’s nice to meet you, Simon Keys - lets hope that you won’t have to cross paths again for work.”

At that moment, he put his hands inside his jacket pockets and clenched his fists ever so slightly.
