I think my mother’s been trying to do something… be closer to the rest of us maybe, idk. She and my dad got really into watches recently and she got my dad like 36 watches off eBay to tinker with, which is kinda sweet (but also has the effect of my dad offering me 36 nearly identical watches every time I visit). And she’s been asking me if I’m ok every once in a while (this can come across as if she believes I’m dying on a random Tuesday). We haven’t been fighting as much when I visit either, which is good probably. I just kinda don’t feel anything about it though, and I don’t know what to feel about that.
