First, his announcement was sudden, completely unexpected. Personally? I think it could’ve been timed better, but rumors and possible leaks could’ve forced Infold’s hand. It is what it is.

As a Sylus main who is almost entirely uninterested in the other live interests, am I happy? Not entirely. Not when I know Sylus is nearing the second anniversary of his debut. Not when we are still missing anecdotes, a second bond story, and that we’ve only gotten 8 tender moments, when the OG3 have 20+.

I’m well aware of Caleb mains suffering as well, lacking not only what I’ve stated previously, but a main story update since his debut.

It’s unfair. I think I have every right to say that.

I’m curious to see if this will be remedied, if at all, especially when there’s so much that needs to be fixed with this game anyway. Phones and tablets are running hot, out of storage, and Infold still fails to give us a PC port after 3 years. Kitty cards and plushies are the only way to get chocolates from the chocolate shop, and that alone hasn’t truly been updated for some time. Journals, housing have been also but on a back burner. It’s getting ridiculous.

Do I hate Valko? No. I personally find him attractive, and the wolf path is… interesting to say the least. I’ve never been a big fan of werewolves because in a lot of mainstream media, they’re done poorly, imo. I’m curious to see how in the hell he’ll fit in a story that is updated so rarely I’m sure most of us have forgotten what’s actually going on. We’re bombarded with event after event, rerun after rerun (although NDZ, I need you fr). While some of us are genuinely only interested in our favorites and their fluffy/spicy cards, there are people who want the story to be actually developed.

I understand this is a game of chance—and that we aren’t 100% going to get what we want. It’s just frustrating to be ignored, and I’ve started to wonder… does Infold actually look at feedback from the audience, when it doesn’t pertain to aesthetics only?

Only time can tell at this point. I’m not mad, just disappointed. But to those excited for his reveal with no strings attached, I’m happy that you’re happy! I just hope Infold begins making actual sense with where they’re going with all this.

Thoughts? Criticisms? I’m interested to hear. At the end of the day, this is a silly lil game in which we can be in love with hot, emotionally available pixel men.

I honestly could not think of a better movie to represent him and MC. “Casablanca” is an absolute beautiful film, and a timeless classic. I haven’t watched it in years, but I think I will revisit it. With a story of political unrest, hope, and love amidst WWII, it feels so on par with both of them. The aesthetic of film noir is something I’ve always associated with Sylus, especially since he’s such an old soul. His VA continues to reduce me to a puddle.

Sylus and MC are no strangers to war in their respective stories—separately and together. And they always meet back in the middle at the end of it all. Truly soulmates, through and through—even death can’t part them for long.

Sylus always will be the most poetic, romantic, insightful, well-written love interests I’ve ever gotten the pleasure of meeting. I love him so much.
