Baby Lilia was crawling all over the outdoor floor around the fire pit. Shane would pick her up, give her a sweet kiss on her chubby cheek, and put her back where she started so she wouldn't wander off into the grass and get bitten by an insect. She was such a smiley and happy baby. She was 8 months old, she was a surprise/ unexpected Valentine's day baby, but her dads loved her with all their hearts. She is the perfect combination of the both of them, she has Shane´s eyes, Shane´s chubby baby structure, Shane´s smile but she got Ilya's hair, so she was born bald. She looks so cute and so funny and her small blonde hairs are so light that she still looks somehow bald, like a kiwi. Shane loves to kiss the top of her head.

It was Shane and Ilya´s 4th summer spent at the cottage, and it was the first summer for their daughter. She was the happiest, that day she got to swim with her dads at the lake, using adorable baby floaties and Ilya was holding her all the time. 

The sunset is beautiful, Lilia gets tired and she looks up at Shane and makes grabby hands at him. Shane picks her up and kisses the top of her head, holding her lovingly in his arms and getting comfy by the fire pit. 

Ilya joins them, he was making popcorn inside. He sits next to his husband and wraps an arm around him. Their daughter nuzzles closer into Shane and gives Ilya an adorable look with her big doe eyes, she is drifting to sleep, but she still wants popcorn. 

Ilya feeds her one carefully and she eats happily, then she looks at Shane.

“I think that she wants me to feed you too.” Ilya chuckles and throws one popcorn in the air. Shane catches it with his mouth and their daughter laughs adorably. Then she yawns. “Gimmie.” Ilya says, taking her from Shane. 

She nuzzles into Ilya and reaches for Shane´s finger cutely. She is starting to drift to sleep again until a loon can be heard in the distance. 

Lilia's expression changes and she starts crying, she gets scared by the loon.

“Oh yeah now we know she is mine. She´s scared of the Canadian bird-wolf.” Ilya jokes and rubs her back lovingly. Shane rolls his eyes and laughs a little, then he caresses his baby´s face lovingly. 

“That is a loon, Lilia.” He says tenderly and with the sweetest voice. “You don't have to be scared. Your dads are here.” He says and she looks at both of them curiously. Then Shane makes the loon sound he makes using his hands and his mouth. Their daughter smiles happily and buries her head into Ilya. She is not scared anymore, she is safe with her dads. She slowly falls asleep. 

“She is a cutie.” Shane says. 

“You are a cutie too.” Ilya adds and kisses Shane´s cheek. “I love you.” 

“Yuna, can you give me my blankie pwease?” He says as he looks up at his mother with his big doe tired eyes when he wants a nap. 

Ilya: *points at himself like ???*

Cop Ilya interrupts and everybody thinks he is a stripper but he is actually a real cop that a grumpy neighbor sent over because the loud noise so yeah Shane explains everyone with his angry kitten face that this hot big russian man is actually a cop.
