I've heard off and on some want for a communal profile collection, a place to post stories, and find events all under one roof since the old RPC went down. Chaos had created their own replacement but was very local to their own data-center. That same group has been building a version for the Crystal data-center at https://crystalarchives.org/

There is also a Dalamud mod for viewing this profile information in game not unlike the early days of TRP on WoW.

Together with @nhaneh and @pointyhatspointyears, we are compiling a [WIP] comprehensive spreadsheet of in-game Non-Weapon Held Objects. In addition to descriptions of the items, we are including the set/base/variant required to pull them up as needed, as well as information on which bone they wield from and where they sheathe to (if appropriate). I am also slowly working my way through and compiling a visual directory.

I've been loving how low stakes and relaxed it is. The full circle narrative of being the experienced and confident Adventurer watching someone young learn and grow into themselves. We are seeing our own ARR development from the outside. The cultural detail and exposition is just a delicious cherry on top of the narrative themes. I don't even need the story parallels I would play an entire expac of just community hopping participant observation.
