                                          Naturally one would think I would know the beauty secrets of Korres as I am of Greek descent but I recently discovered the brand a year ago, receiving a sample of one of their moisturizers.  Soon after, I became a huge fan of Korres all natural formulations that produce fabulous results.  My latest obsession and one that keeps my long, brown hair in silky, smooth tip top condition is their Rice Proteins and Oligoelments Shampoo.  Rice and wheat proteins in this bottle help make hair super elastic and protect the strands from splitting, preventing unsightly split ends.  An added bonus is the packaging, in which the copy is written in English and Greek for those bilingual ladies just like myself!  What better way to brush up on your Greek and get a little beauty regime in at the same time?

This fabulous dress struck my fancy when I decided to poke in to Anthropologie this past week when I was in NYC.  The picture might not do this dress complete justice, however it is absolutely stunning in real-life.  This floor-length, silk maxi dress has a blue floral pattern and an empire waist that makes it easy to throw on with sandals and you are ready to embrace the day or the night, perfect for the spring and summer- if they ever decided to make and appearance!  For $198 this Chroma Reflections Maxi Dress by Edme and Esyltteis by far not a steal but a definite item to add to everyone's wishlist!

                         Save the sneaks for the treadmill!  I simply refuse to wear them and am constantly looking for alternatives to flats when the warmer months arrive. Sometimes the elegance of a flat is just too much when you are going for that casual running around town look.  In the winter months, I opt for moccasins to keep my feet warm and comfortable from errand to errand.  In the warmer months, I've set my eyes on these.  Madewell has stocked their shelves with bensimon elastic sneakers and I've just about fallen in love.  I haven't quite figured out which color scheme will work best with my wardrobe so I may just scoop up a few pairs.  The best part about these - no ugly laces to tie!

I am LOVING the "shop by outfit" feature on Forever 21's website, so I figured I would share it with you.  Forever 21 has been a favorite of mine every since I was old enough to shop for myself!  It attracts everyone from the young tweens, who are just starting to shop for themselves, all the way through to ladies in their twenties who need a quick, affordable outfit for an event.  The most appealing aspect of this store is the fact that it has the latest trends and fads at reasonable prices.  So if a trend comes and goes, you don't feel as bad never wearing a $22 top again, because it wasn't a huge chunk of your wallet.  Currently Forever 21has everything you will need to complete an outfit from undergarments to shoes and handbags it is essentially a "one stop shop."  Although it is a favorite of mine I am not a fan of buying an entire outfit from there.  I prefer to buy pieces that I can pair with pieces I already own or buy higher quality picks from elsewhere.  I am a big supporter of their basics like the white tee in the photo on the left, their shoes, however are questionable; their quality is not the greatest, but then again if you are trend shopping this store might be able to help you out in more ways than you originally thought. 

In the spirit of Valentine's Day, I've sent Cupid out to find his favorite V-day inspired looks.  He stopped off at Forever21 and it was love at first sight!  These graphic tees are sure to start some conversation and inspire loving thoughts in us all.  Of course, for those who are celebrating the anti-Valentine, Cupid even found a tee for you!  Love Don't Pay the Bills, says it all while sporting a broken heart ,because let's face it, sometimes love just isn't enough.  Won't you be mine this February 14th?

So on Thursday off we were to attend the IFB Fashion Blogger Conference, great conference might I add, and we got the chance to be fitted for a new FREE pair of Levi's Curve ID.  Awesome right? Who is going to turn down free denim, especially when they measure you and tell you what fit will suit your shape best.  After we were measured and headed toward the closest Levi store, we were to say the least, completely bummed out when we were in the fitting rooms trying on these jeans!  The fit was awful, completely uncomfortable, and there was nothing flattering about the jeans- so on to the next cut, maybe a skinny wasn't the right choice.  And yet again, the same thing happened, AWFUL! There goes an awesome pair of free jeans, but when something is free, seriously what should I have expected?  Every cut/size/pair I tried on was a complete failure and after I had tried on every pair of their Curve ID Line, I was completely depressed.  I decided, because no matter what I was getting a free pair, to settle on a skinny dark wash, thinking when I tried them on at home I would like them a little better and might be able to make it work.  I think they fit even worse when I tried them on for a second time- well these will be passed on to someone who might actually like these!

Something about the leopard and the soft pink meshing together just makes me adore this outfit!  The fierceness of the animal toned down with the softness of the pink color makes this look perfect for V-Day, take away the fur vest and you have an outfit that can take you straight into the spring!
