My mentor professor suggested that I start blogging my foodie experiences. I’m lucky enough that I get to live in beautiful Sonoma county where the food is earthly and fresh and the wine is top-notch.

This is a photo taken at Twist Eatery, a whimsical little restaurant seated in the outskirts of downtown Sebastopol. I went here for lunch with my boyfriend and his roommate. My boyfriend ordered a creamy gnocchi dish while his roommate and I both opted for the Asian-inspired chicken caesar salad. Both dishes were mouthwatering... our salads had crispy bits of apple and currants and it was all perfectly dressed with a ginger-soy caesar dressing. The chicken was just a touch crispy on the outside yet tender on the inside. All of our dishes came with buttered toast made with bread that’s baked fresh daily in their own kitchen.

I know it’s been a long time since I’ve used Tumblr on a consistent basis, but I’m revamping this blog a bit. It’s still going to be my personal Tumblr account - I’m just going to start blogging my creative writing more.
