Hello again! I remember and you're right because Mike is always worthy of defending.

So, without further ado...

~How I feel about this character~

I suppose Mike initially seemed like the odd one out of the four but he's quite integral to making sure complete anarchy doesn't reign (bad news for Rick), in my opinion. He's the straight guy in the comedy set up and Christopher Ryan plays him superbly, especially considering he wasn't coming from a comic background like everyone else was. I like Mike; he's probably the closest we have to a sane character on the show and so sometimes he and the audience are on the same wavelength, which is cool haha get it. Most importantly, though, he is actually funny in his own right.

~All the people I ship romantically with this character~

It would be rude of me not to mention his blow up doll here. Now that that's out of the way, I think Mike and Vyvyan could work quite well as a pairing. I know not everyone likes it as a romantic ship but it's true that Mike and Vyv get along best out of the group. Vyvyan seems to respect Mike and I can see them both being protective about each other, each in different ways. Going in a completely opposite direction, however, someone in the Scumbags Discord once brought up the idea of Mike and Neil and that sounded quite cute too. In fact, the only pairing I can't really imagine is Rick and Mike. Rick's far too much of a suck up to Mike for it to work, at least not healthily.

Again, it would have to be Mike and Vyv. I just love their dynamic!

~My unpopular opinion about this character~

I'm not really sure? Mike is definitely generally thought of as the least important one or maybe even the boring one so I obviously have a different view there.

~One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon~

It would have been funny if one of the others had discovered that Mike's expertise with women was actually bollocks. The most likely way this could happen would probably be if one of them went into his room uninvited and discovered those tapes (they appear in Oil). They'd all react differently but I think all of them might agree to keep it a secret. Neil would without having to be asked; Rick would maybe need blackmailing; Vyvyan would either agree or ask for something first and then agree.
