Hey, yeah, sorry about the radio-silence. Abed and me fixed stuff and that was great but then he told me about you guys talking and to be honest… I was sorta avoiding you?

He said you were… sad about us. And I can’t handle that Shirley. I can’t…. deal with you hating me- and when you’re sad about me and Abed you’re telling me you hate me. You’re the group’s mom, so that means your kind of like, my mom, but better because you don’t hit me in the back of the head and tell me to stop talking to Tommy From The Fifth Grade because you caught him making googly eyes at me that one time.

Except now it feels like you are? And I don’t want to not have my second mom. And I really can’t not have my second mom because I happen to really love Abed. But I also can’t- won’t- lose Abed.

What a question. Personally, I’m hoping Shirley does — maybe the promise of wedded bliss will make her less bitter about everyone else’s. Of course, that’s a lift I suppose Larson could equally do with.
