Philippe may not recognize the Chevalier anymore, but I don’t recognize Philippe anymore.

Although I've only seen it in French (which for the most part I don't understand) this was my immediate reaction. I've seen gifs with English subtitles and at this point it seems like Philippe doesn't understand that the Chevalier is doing everything he does because he wants Philippe to PROVE that Philippe loves him. This scene is another example of that to me. Philippe doesn't understand why the Chevalier would think he doesn't love him and the Chevalier doesn't understand why Philippe can't see through his tantrums. They're all over the place in this season but you actually get to see how much they value each other, because they go through all of that and still reconcile in the end.
