Deidara and Sasori’s little faction is losing horribly and that’s to be expected, right. We arent’t gonna kill anyone right off the bat cus this is ultimately a show that hinges on community and helping others or whatever. And maybe everything else thats gonna come out of my mouth is because i just dont understand how the reanimation jutsu works, but im disappointed with how things are going so far.

I hated that one conversation completely changed Nagato’s ideals and plans, and it feels like a cheap end to such a big villain (the supposed LEADER of this huge terrorist group ! The BIG bad right next to orochimaru!) and yeah, Madara said that was a one-off. Nagato was just very easy to influence. Disappointing and it feels like a cheap excuse to throw him out of the narritave, but whatever.

Is Sasori ALSO that easy to influence or is this gonna be a pattern? Because the exact same thing happened to sasori with kankurō, and i do not understand why him finding some semblance of peace in death is what undoes the reanimation. From what i know of it, it SHOULDN’T, right? Sasori hasn’t completed the task Kabuto gave him when he was brought back, so SURELY sasori and sais brother both should’ve just had to keeping coming back. And even if that is what happens and im complaining too soon, i’m also just. Disappointed that Sasori is like…moved so quickly by this one conversation with this kid who stole what’s basically his corpse. Yeah, it’s sweet that he gets confirmation that his art will be eternal like he wanted and his puppets will be used and cared for, but really? One talk? One guy going “your work will be used long after you’re gone for good” is what does him in? It just feels like a cheap out because we got bored of writing for Sasori.

Like i said, maybe i just don’t understand the reanimation jutsu. But i don’t think having Kankurō and Kabuto both, out loud, say that the trick is imperfect was necessary considering we already kinda knew that. It’s not like it’s the first time reanimation has been used. I can get why Kankurō would be deducing that emotions aren’t influenced under reanimation, but as a storytelling point i don’t see the point in having anyone say it out loud. Especially since in every instance of reanimation thus far, at least one person has spelled it out on their own. The first and second Hokage say it, the guys Asuma fights repeatedly say “This is just what we’re being forced to do, so sorry” and Haku and Zabuza both go “i’m conscious, and not in control of my body. I am upset.” “I don’t like being used like this.” It doesnt NEED to be spelled out anymore than that i don’t think. And Kabuto repeating the idea that the jutsu is incomplete just feels repetitive. We KNOW, buddy. YOU know that already. It won’t make anymore sense if finding peace is what breaks it because the thing with reanimation that we’ve seen repeatedly is it doesn’t MATTER what the person wants. You’re brought back and given a task and you don’t have the option to go back to your grave.

this sucks. this show sucks. I hate this. I didn't even want to watch the 4th great ninja war because it's just gonna piss me off isnt it. can someone just tell me if choji and kiba die. because they are my favorite secondary characters and choji already scared the shit out of me in the original capturing Sasuke back Arc. so.
