Fine as yesterday

I don’t cry much anymore; I just hold my breath and try and suffocate the feelings before they can suffocate me.

She is fragile, don’t make her cry. She’s weak, teach her how to be strong. She’s emotional, listen to her endless dramas. She’s lovable, love her more than she loves you. She’s God-fearing, be with her and let your relationship closer to God. She’s funny, ride with her corny jokes. She’s annoying, don’t take it seriously. She’s not a toy, don’t play with her feelings. She loves food, eat with her. She’s sensitive, undestand her. She’s moody, make her smile. She’s simple, appreciate her.

I want to feel your touch every single day. I want to hug and kiss you in the middle of nowhere. I’m longing for your presence. I want you. Just you.

Have you ever considered the feelings of your girlfriend when she said, “I’m fine.” after you had an argument with her? Do you know when she’s hurt? When she’s start getting annoyed? When she’s mad? When she needs someone to lift her up? Do you know how to make her laugh when she’s in the highest point of getting pissed? Do you know what to do to make her mood go back in normal? Are you aware that what you have told/spilled was for a lifetime that she could remember? Or you are just another someone who don’t care about her feelings to the point you won’t do anything to make things right? Or another someone who takes so much pride..

I won’t beg someone to love me. I learned long ago that there is no use in hopeless pleas of trying to make someone stay. I am too good to chase someone who does not know my worth and I am too wild to keep waiting for someone who doesn’t acknowledge my value. I want to be loved unconditionally. I shouldn’t have to fight so hard for it. I do not have the time to prove to someone that I am worth it. I shouldn’t have to prove any of that; I am worth more than that.

Every day I keep on looking for that one soul who let the fire burnt my skin but never meant to stay in the first place.
