The Sims 2 ha uno dei metodi più semplici per l'installazione di materiale personalizzato all'interno del gioco. In questa guida vi spiegherò passo passo tutto ciò che dovrete fare per installare i suoi due formato file “.Package” e “.sims2pack”. 

INIZIAMO CON I .PACKAGE! 

Step.1: Andate su Documenti, poi su “EA Games”, e poi su “The Sims 2” o “The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection”, dipende dalla versione da voi posseduta. Noterete molte cartelle, TRANNE quella evidenziata da me nello screen, ovvero la cartella “Downloads”. E’ naturale, non l'avete, nessuno di voi l'ha all'inizio, quindi bisognerà crearla!

Step.2: Col tasto destro create una nuova cartella nella cartella “The Sims 2”. A quel punto nominatela esattamente “Downloads” (senza virgolette). ATTENZIONE: è fondamentale che Downloads sia scritto correttamente, altrimenti non funzionerà.

Step.3: Inserite tutto ciò che scaricate in formato “Package” in questa cartella ed il gioco è fatto!

Di norma questi tipi di file sono capelli, vestiti, mobili, make-up, pavimenti, pareti etch (tutto ciò che riguarda il crea un sim e la modalità costruisci) e mod.

COME INSTALLARE UN FILE .SIMS2PACK

In caso di file sims2pack invece, ad installarvelo sarà il programma “The Sims 2 Installer”, già incorporato nel gioco una volta installato.

Basterà fare doppio click sul file .sims2pack e dopo un po’ vi apparirà una finestrella blu che vi installerà il tutto. (Se non dovesse funzionare cliccate con il tasto destro (del mouse) sull’icona del file e dopo di che cliccate su “Apri con…” e selezionate “The Sims 2 Installer”.  Una volta aperta la finestrella cliccate quindi su “Installa”.

Di norma, questi tipi di file sono sim e lotti, MA se volete un installazione più pulita e a prova di corruzione vi suggerisco di installare i sims2pack con il programma Sims2Pack Clean Installer anzichè The Sims 2 Installer, che oltre ad installare in modo più sicuro sim e lotti vi avvisa anche se all’interno del lotto o del sim vi è un file dannoso per la vostra partita.

Per installare un file .sims2pack con il Clean Installer semplicemente  cliccate con il tasto destro (del mouse) sull’icona del file e dopo di che cliccate su “Apri con…” e selezionate “Sims2Pack Clean Installer”. Una volta aperta la finestrella cliccate quindi su “Install”.

These are @lilith-sims's Honey Honey skins put on new files with their accompanying sets of repo’d showerproof skins for a variety of body shapes. If you don't care about body shapes, the only point to getting my version instead of Lilith's would be for the wrinkles I added on elders.

The non-freckled skins will conflict with my recent palettes (#1, #2, #3, #4, #5, #6) and half of my big realistic palettes (x, x). The freckled skins will conflict with the other half of the big realistic palettes.

GREENHOUSE BUILD SET in Image Spectra by amoebae

I used the slatted wall from the Greenhouse Haven kit in my last build and thought it could do with some more colours. Then I realised I should really do the windows and doors to match. And then I remembered the gable end. And the roof. And the plain wall.

So here they are! They all come in the Image Spectra palette. The windows and doors have separate catalogue entries for the different types of glazing: clear, lattice (shown in screenshot), and mesh. That leads to lots of package files, so I’ve merged them together.

The roof looks funky. I can never get them right. They’re always too bright. It looks fine from inside, but you might want to avoid the lighter colours if you’re planning on taking screenshots of the outside. Or don’t, I’m not the boss of you.

Cottage Diaries Part I

Helloo guys! As I showed a few days ago, this is my march pack. An en suite bathroom with 24 new items for your sims to take a bath in a glamorous vintage space!

This is part 1 from my new Series called "Cottage Diaries" that I will be creating for Sims 4 for the next few months. This was totally inspired by XO Macenna, a home designer from youtube, Cottage Renovation. She's currently back at the cottage to continue her renovation so I thought "Let's go along with her for sims!" I loooove her and her style so making this is awesome for me! Such a delight! She didn't finish this en suite bathroom yet, so I made a lot of things from my own personal taste with her essence, I hope! Haha

The details in these are my favorite part! I hand painted so many little details to make this resemble all the gorgeous trifted unique pieces that she picked! Aaargh I love it! This Series will always be an inspiration from her home and style but not an exact translation to sims, so things will vary according to my liking and style too.
