“don’t lose your cool in from of your kouhais,” he said in faux concern, side-eyeing the first graders and mouthing a silent sorry at them, “you’re already known as the senpai with the anger issues.”

“and whose fault is that?! just leave me alone and go bother someone else,” you tried to walk past him but he had you cornered in a second. 

“can’t,” he clicked his tongue before you heard him whisper in your ear, “it’s only fun when it’s you.”

that was what one of your classmates told you right after they saw the way geto behaved around you.

“he’s gonna play with you, so don’t get your hopes up.”

and what did you do? you scoffed. 

“as if. he’s so obnoxious.”

but the obnoxious sorcerer had such a beautiful smile and radiated charm left and right, not to mention that he was very powerful as well.

like a naïve and clueless child, you fell right into his trap. every time he made fun of you, your heart broke a little more, but then he would do one of those rare things and it was more than enough to confuse you.

it had started with a box full of your favourite lollipops on your birthday, then, it was walking you home since apparently he lived just a couple of blocks away. that had seemed so thoughtful of him, but so out of character at the same time. perhaps you had him villanized after only getting to see the mean side of him, and like a fool, soon you were crushing on him.

“take a nap, i’ll let you know when yaga-sensei comes back.”

you replied with a hum not because you were tired, but because you didn’t consider it wise to use your voice when your heart seemed to be about to burst out of your mouth. 

slowly, suguru made it his task to allow his touch to wander closer to you and the foreign touch of his lips on your cheek turning into an everyday occurrence. he was persistent until you became so used to his closeness that you let your guard down around him, continuing to do whatever it was that you were doing while he napped on your lap.

on that particular day, you remember how the cold breeze came in through the open windows while you boredly stared outside. class had ended early and the room was almost empty since most of the students decided to spend the rest of the period outside, so you chose to distract yourself with your phone.

suguru stood at the back, chatting with satoru until the latter left to go get a snack. his hands were inside of his pockets as he struggled between going out for a smoke or staying. he didn’t have to think much as soon as he spotted you, sitting two seats ahead and typing something on your phone.

he couldn’t make out your expression and for some reason, he wanted to take a look at your face. after a few steps, he stood right next to your desk, and like second nature, he leaned down to peck your cheek.

you didn’t have to look up to know it was him, his scent instantly gave him away. still, you found it odd that he hadn’t said a word and just stood there next to you. you were turning around to ask him what did he want when you felt the soft touch of his lips. 

your eyes stayed open, your brain too slow to comprehend until he raised to his full height again.

“did you just…?”

suguru had tried to kiss your cheek, but since you moved your head, his lips had landed on the corner of yours. there was a faint dampness on your bottom lip that confirmed you the kiss had actually happened, but it was quickly turning cold as another breeze seeped through.

he didn’t understand the horrified look on your face until you brought your fingers to your lips, his heart dropping to his stomach as he let out a nervous laugh.

“wait– that’s not,” his hands reached out to you but he stopped before they could touch you. were you going to hate him after this? he couldn’t take your cold shoulder again, not after seeing how comfortable you had become around him, “no, no no, it was an accident! i was going to kiss your cheek but you moved and–”

he stopped when he saw you look away. he immediately dropped to his knees so he could be closer to your height.

“please, don’t hate me. i meant to kiss your cheek, i swear.”

seeing him genuinely worried was new to you, he wouldn’t stop biting the inside of his cheek and that carefree smile he always had was gone. you concluded that you didn’t like that look on him.

“okay.”

life seemed to come back to his body and he breathed out a sigh, the corners of his lips tugging upwards in relief and you couldn’t help but mirror it.

you watched as he stood up and squeezed your shoulder, but the words he said before leaving had your heart jumping in your chest at noticing how they sounded like a promise instead of a warning.

⥅ this man is sooo cheesy, he's a sucker for clichés. there's this little routine you have in the morning that when he's getting ready for work, you are in charge of doing his tie for him and then send him off with a kiss like a married couple yes

⥅ definitely one of those dudes that sits on the couch and yells at the tv when he's watching sports. if bokuto is there, things get so much more dramatic. and if you happen to be sitting next to him or cuddling, he talks throughout the entire match with you. he also asks you if you're comfortable and gives you little kisses

⥅ loves to cook! he might not know that many dishes and cooks the same four ones, but those few dishes taste like heaven

⥅ showers twice a day, esp on weekdays because of work. in the morning to get rid of his bedhead, and at night which gives him the bedhead (he doesn't let his hair dry before he falls asleep)

⥅ talking about hair, he likes to use hair cream to keep it soft and style it, loves it when it's you playing with it so he asks you to style it for him. once he's back from work and has had his shower, he wears his hair down or a hair band to keep it away while he cooks dinner

SUNA

⥅ king of sweatpants and hoodies! so ofc you end up borrowing some of his clothes. it's okie though bc he'd never say no to you. however, don't be surprised if you see him lying on the couch with a crop top and sweats. "what's mine is yours and what's yours is mine," he says when you raise your eyebrows at him

⥅ a fan of jewelry since the fucker looks good in both gold and silver jewelry. usually has two necklaces, one is a chain and the other is a necklace that matches with yours. he also wears rings but no more than one or two

⥅ enjoys making the bed and is in charge of taking out the trash, but please don't make him mop the floor because he gets back pains :(

⥅ not a big chef but knows how to make a good coffee/tea. he even does that thing where he draws those pretty designs, like a leaf or a heart, on your coffee

⥅ uses a frog headband when he washes his face/does his skincare routine. you got it for him as a christmas present and he ended up loving it a little bit too much. it got to a point where it was all worn out and you had to replace it with a bunny one (you thought it would look cute on him, and he loves that one too)

⥅ enjoys going to the grocery store but only when you're with him, otherwise it's boring. he pushes the cart and has the list memorized while you put the items in it. one time, a kid mistook him for their father

⥅ his go-to breakfast is cereal, especially when he's feeling lazy/doesn't want to wash too many dishes. he's also a bit of a picky eater but nothing too extreme, you just might end up eating his tomatoes
