But guess what I got when I asked for another vegetable?

That’s pickled jalapeño on the top by the way. And that is not what they were referring to as vegetable. (But it made the rest of it better.)

I’m back home in Phoenix AZ and I’ve just eaten a plate of buñelos for the first time in 15 years. Frigging evil. Once I was young and this shit didn’t matter but at 45?! Deep fried pizza-shaped slides of wheat tortilla smothered in sugar and agave syrup made to be dipped in whipped cream with walnuts: wrong.

Fuck me. Excuse the language but it is apt. The item on the menu should come with a warning.

Pretty good with a rough malted rye, though. (I didn’t know that they malted rye. I thought that was a barley thing.)

Just found these from my time in Brazil a couple of weeks back. This it the ITEMM team. Terrific people. Looking forward to making a success of the Brazil market together. The bottom picture was a tremendous (and vast) seafood meal in Florianópolis.

So happy to be back on my girl. The BMW 1200GS had its strengths but nothing beats my Katie M. She is peerless.

A few hundred kms this weekend and I am grinning like a maniac.
