no keith thinks he’s a sweaty jock boy and he is but he also has eyes that are illegal to look at directly in at least three states. see exhibits a-e:

OH MAN. this is literally one of my favorite scenes in the whole series. (sorry, this is going to be really long.) i think it’s really honest. it shows exactly how insecure shiro is feeling about their relationship at that point. there’s a lot of set up for it, too.

up until this point, keith has been shiro’s rock, but that changes this season, and shiro has no idea why. he asks keith what’s wrong repeatedly, and keith blatantly lies to him. shiro is worried, but more than that, he’s hurt.

by the time they get to the blade of marmora’s base, he knows for sure that something is deeply wrong, but he’s given up on getting keith to talk about it. he tries one more time, and keith shuts him down again: (more under the cut)

“I love you too.”

Season 6 killed me in the best way possible. I was on the edge of my chair, smiling and crying at the same time. It was so nice to have Shiro and Keith together again after so much time apart. Thanks team Voltron!!!

I thought this day would never come so here’s a little something for them (by little something I mean “Damn it! Art is hard!)
