Warnings: Strong language, Cheating, Angst, Mentions of Alcohol, Smut
From what you knew about relationships, it was never supposed to be like this. You felt like you had somehow been transported into an alternate universe where your personal endeavors mirrored that of an angsty drama program on television.Ā
You tried to remember how you got to this point - lips attached to someone elseās, someone who was not the person you were currently dating.
You truly believed Justin was the one for you, and you couldnāt believe that you had met someone as perfect as him. He was from Korea, visiting the States on a vacation, when you two managed to meet at a clichĆ© little coffee shop.Ā
The day was going fine for you, until you, being too engrossed with the latest shooting news story on your phone, bumped right into Justin, spilling his iced americano all over the both of you.
Apologizing profusely, you offered to buy him another, and that was the start of what you thought was something great - and it was. God, meeting Justin was one of the greatest things that happened to you.
Dates consisted of showing him around town, blushes and laughs, and you teaching him more English than he already knew, as he did his best to teach you some Korean as well.
You were captivated by Justin, so when the time came for him to go back to Korea, both of you were distraught. He told you he would call or text you any chance he got, and that he wouldnāt forget you. He promised you heād come back to the States the first chance he got - and eventually, he would move there with you, where you guys would be able to comfortably continue your love story.Ā
It was months before he managed to keep up his promise, surprising you one late afternoon when he showed up at your door with a suitcase and a cheesy grin on his face.Ā
You were happy - the happiest youād been in a long time, but things began to change once you and Justin had moved in together. One thing that you had admired about the man was how touchy he was - as if you would disappear if he ever let you slip out of his grasp. A hand was always in yours, or an arm was draped around your shoulder. Even at home, he was always curled around your back, one hand holding yours, and soft kisses placed to the back of your neck whenever he felt it was necessary.
However, that soon became less and less frequent until it stopped entirely. Justin would come home from work, and his greets went from a long hug and kiss, to a kiss on the cheek, to a hug, to a mere nod as he acknowledged your presence.
That was when you were lucky, though. Most days, you were asleep when Justin left in the morning, and you were asleep when he got home after his shift. The bed got colder, and your mind began to wander as to what was happening.
Maybe he just wasnāt interested anymore? You began to think that the distance was what kept him so enraptured with you, and now that the thousands of miles were nonexistent between the two of you, he was getting bored. He was unconsciously putting the distance back between you two, but it hurt you worse than when he was actually in Korea.Ā
At least when Justin was on the other side of the world, he would answer your texts and not decline your calls.
āYou sound like you need a night out,ā Your friend Irene spoke to you over the phone after you had finished venting your frustrations over Justin to her,Ā āJust to clear your mind and have a little fun. Iām going out tonight, actually; wanna come?ā
āHonestly, that sounds perfect,ā You agreed, scoffing as a thought came to mind.Ā āWhatās Justin gonna do if he doesnāt like it - tell me? Hold my hand to hold me back? Thatād be the most attention Iāve gotten from him in weeks.ā
The music of the nightclub was fuzzy in your ears as you stood in one of the adjacent hallways, pressed up against the wall by a gorgeous man who was ravishing your lips with his.
Normally, youād push him away, exclaim that you had a boyfriend. However, with the shots of vodka coursing through your system, it just amplified your need to be touched, and this was the most attention youāve gotten in a long time.
Before the two of you had become tangled at the mouth, you had learned that his name was Jensen, and he was dragged out here by his best friends because he needed toĀ āstop mopingā, he had heavily accented with air quotes. Apparently he had just gone through a divorce, and his friends wanted him to get out and have a little fun instead of sitting at home and wondering what went wrong in his marriage.
You couldnāt remember the rest of the conversation, too engrossed in what was unfolding now. Jensenās knee was wedged between your legs, giving you the delicious friction you craved.Ā
Jensen backed away far too early though, instead pulling you into a room not far from where the two of you had grounded yourselves in the hallway. As you looked around the small room, you saw it was nothing more than a closet big enough for the two of you. Once the lock of the door caught your eyes however, you decided it was just enough for what you wanted.Ā
You watched Jensen lock the door, and it wasnāt soon after that that you both got to work. Becoming tangled at the mouth once again, both of your hands began to work at the buttons on Jensenās pants, as his pulled up your skirt, beginning to rub you through your thin underwear.
The moans that spilled from your mouth were swallowed as you kissed Jensen, and the rest of what happened was a blur in your mind. You were high on adrenaline and need, not having been intimate with something else other than your hand for far too long.
It was only when you were on all fours, feeling Jensen slowly enter you from behind, his hands gripping your hips, that you sobered up immediately.
Your conscience was screaming at you, telling you that you needed to stop, telling you that this wouldnāt end well.Ā āDonāt stop,ā you heard yourself stay, the sound of skin against skin reverberating in your ears, the feeling of Jensenās hot breath on your neck sending goosebumps throughout your body.
The knot in your stomach began to get tighter - Jensen knew you were close, telling by the hand that moved from the iron grip on your hip down to your core, rubbing you quickly, doing his best to bring you closer to the end.
You felt all your breath leave your lungs as you came, collapsing onto your elbows as electricity coursed through your veins. You felt Jensen pull out, panting heavily as he released in hot spurts on the back of your thigh.
You forced yourself to come down quickly, looking around the closet for something to clean yourself up with. There was a roll of paper towels on the floor not far from you, thankfully, and you tore some off, cleaning up the back of your legs as Jensen calmed down, running a hand through his hair.
You winced as you sat up on your knees, hoping they wouldnāt be scraped or red, anything that would give away your actions to Irene or anyone else. Jensen stood, offering a hand out to you. You gladly accepted it, pulling yourself off of the floor.
The room was silent as the two of you fixed your appearances. You gnawed on your bottom lip as you adjusted your skirt back to its normal placement, ready to walk out of the closet.
You felt a hand on yours, however, and when you turned around, Jensen had pulled you in for another kiss. This one was much softer - scared, almost. After a few seconds, Jensen pulled back, a slight blush on his cheeks.
āCould I, uh, could I get your number?ā He asked quietly.
You smiled at the question, but your conscience was screaming at you again. This wasnāt right. You have a boyfriend - you canāt go giving your number to anyone.
You ignored this constant nagging however, giving Jensen your number before slipping out of the closet, back into the busy nightclub.
It was once you laid eyes on Irene at the bar, her own eyes searching the area for you, was when the guilt set in.
You had really gone and done that - slept with someone else when you were dating Justin. You knew no matter what your reason was for having sex with Jensen, it didnāt matter.Ā
Approaching Irene, you told her you werenāt feeling well, and despite a questioning look from her, she led you out of the club, taking you home.
You sighed as you opened the door to yours and Justinās apartment, your chest feeling heavy as you closed and locked the door behind you. Your mind was racing, but what he doesnāt know wonāt hurt him, right? You had decided on the way home not to tell him about Jensen, even though it was proving difficult for you to get him out of your head.
āY/N?ā Justinās voice reached your ears, and you turned, seeing him smiling softly at you from the hallway entrance.
āHey. What are you doing up?ā You asked him, surprised that he was instigating a conversation - he hadnāt done that in a while.
āWaiting for you. Did you go out?ā Justin replied, walking over to you and sliding his hands over your hips.
You raised an eyebrow as you answered him,Ā āYeah, Irene and I went out for drinks. Whyād you wait for me?ā You questioned, refraining from adding the fact that he hadnāt bothered to so much as hold your hand in weeks.
Justin then surprised you by leaning in and capturing your lips with his, the type of intoxicating kiss you didnāt realized youād missed so much. You let your hands wrap around his neck as he pulled away, whispering that he had a surprise for you waiting in your room, and he had realized how neglectful heād been to you, and how he intended on fixing it.
As the two of you left to your room, your phone vibrated on the counter, screen lighting up for a few seconds before dimming again.
Unknown Number: Hey, itās Jensen. I had a nice time tonight, maybe we can do it again soon?
