This entire thing was really just an excuse to use the flowery paper. And i also posted it to my Instagram (shauneliza, note the 'u')

Just a little multimedia sketch. I was looking through some Star Wars costumes, and my hand started itching to make this lady

...is a pain to render in paper. I am very pleased with the result, however, and I will forever adore the red and gold paper. This character is one that I have revisited several times over the last seven(?) years, and yet, he still has no name. This fire baby would rather incinerate a person than give his name, so it works I guess xD But in case you’re interested: he lives in a volcano, favorite hobby is keeping people off said volcano, and is very single.

Finally finished this piece of Yavanna! After years of trying different things, I have come to a design for her that I like. The best part: using actual moss for her hair.  And I realize that her robe looks black, but it's actually very dark green 😬 in the future I shall make it more clear

I had some time in my watercolor class today, so I decided to sketch a bit. This little piece of Maedhros came out pretty well I think. Its kinda supposed to be the moment of his suicide, with the silmaril being the purple-y thing in his hand

Working on my view of Aule. I'm doing another piece of his lovely wife, so it's only fair to include him as well. I had a dream a while back of using salt to make his beard and I am debating whether or not I should. I could also just use rocks or rock-like paper, but I keep hearing a voice in my ear:"salt, use salt!" (To clarify, I mean salt as in gluing down those large pieces of sea salt onto the paper to make his beard)

Wip of a school project. The color scheme was somewhat dictated by the teacher, and I decided to make an ent! Sort of, not sure what kind of tree he is. At the moment I am deciding on colors for the final painting

I created this thinking of varda, then started reading the histories of middle earth and learned that her color scheme is all whites and silvers. Oh well. I’ll probably end up changing my design for her, but will keep a lot of what I already put down ( blue skin!!!!)
