Ark Triceratops redesign
Don't have much to say about this one
Some fanart of The Prince from Rain World the Watcher because I love him
In 1952, an abandoned shrine was found in the Wakayama prefecture of rural Japan. This temple, known as Rabu Shrine (羅父神宮), appeared in old Edo period maps, but was incorrectly believed to have burned down a century prior. The government undertook a survey, identifying signs of occupation dating as late as the 1920s. The following documents, including a set of postcards and manuscripts written by the young priest Sōkū (桑空), were recovered at the site:
ル祀ミ育神蟲テニ宮神父羅 (At Rabu Shrine, the insect God is raised and worshipped.)
“O Spirits, why must you test our faith so? The Child Shinchū has absorbed one more of us today, yet she will not transform into a God. The elder priest Tōji says we must keep waiting. That the Child still hungers. That the more she takes in, the more divine she will become. And yet, nineteen people has she taken into itself and her shell will not harden. She only grows larger, hungrier.”
ム慰ヲ神キナケワイニ弦管ガモド侶僧ノ宮神父羅 (The Priests at Rabu Shrine soothe the young God with music.) Priest Sōkū pictured left.
“The older faithful of the shrine still remember the elder siblings of Shinchū, and how simple it was to help them grow. A single soul would often suffice, and the union would transform them into beautiful Gods in the shape of scarabs, butterflies, and bees. Yet the Child refuses her ascension, and our numbers dwindle. Her Father does not guide us, blind as he is in his old age. I fear that life is fading beneath his shell, and his spirit readies to depart.”
神ルケ生ノメタガラ我テニ宮神父羅 (Rabu Shrine's Sacred Father, a God living amongst us.)
“Many of the faithful have left the shrine. They feel fear in their hearts that they will be chosen next, absorbed into the Child fruitlessly; they feel anger towards the young God who will not grow, all the while taking their loved ones. They say the disappearances will cause suspicion, that someone will discover the secret of our shrine and, filled with envy, will kill Shinchū’s young siblings, who are yet unready to ascend.”
リ侍チ育ニカヤ健デ池産ノ宮神父羅ハ子ノ神 (The God Children grow healthy in the Rabu Shrine purification pond.)
“There are only three of us left. Those who lost their faith have reneged their vows and left the temple. The rest of us, who remain devout in our worship, have continued uniting with the Child to no avail. Today, it was Tōji’s turn to read his fortune in the Omikuji, and he was awarded the Great Blessing of becoming one with the Child. But he would not accept it. He attempted to flee, leaving his Omikuji tied in the temple lest fate follow him. It took the three of us to bring him back and force him within Shinchū’s soft shell. We pray he may be the last. The faithful need hope to come back.”
羅父神社の羅父神はきみを御子と共に神になるやう選ばれき 共に生ける神となり御子のうちいづるほどわたりはきみを崇拝せむ (GREAT BLESSING: The Sacred Father of Rabu Shrine has chosen you to become a God with His Child. Together, you will become a Living God and live an eternal blissful life, and the people of Rabu Shrine will worship your new name.)
“I am the last one here. Day after day, the Omikuji spares me of the Great Blessing. I feel weary, and my faith is fading. Is the Shinchū really the God they promised? Or is she a demon, using our faith to trick us into feeding her? The Father has stopped moving, and her younger siblings grow weak without our care. I have found myself alone with her. Watching after her does not comfort me as it once did. I have decided to read only one more Omikuji. Let my fate be decided.”
At the time of its discovery, most of the shrine had fallen into ruin as the wooden beams rotted in the humid climate. A single structure was still standing, containing some of the temple’s statues and treasures. Today, only these documents and several photos from the 1952 survey remain.

A little redesign of an alien guy I made all the way back in 2024
Coincidentally, the design looks a lot like an eridian from Project Hail Mary but, as I said, the original design was made way before the movie came out
Here's the original drawing

Some Prince fanart because I love him
Finally, after MONTHS of waiting, I was able to watch the Iron Lung movie
Was it worth it? Mostly, I enjoyed the movie up until the ending, the ending was so overwhelming that I couldn't understand a thing of what was going on. Overall, I give it a 6 or 7 out of 10
Anyway, I absolutely loved the monster's design so you know I had to draw it

Been on an All Tomorrows craze recently, specifically designing descendants for the posthumans that go extinct early on in the book
They go as follows:
* Gardeners, titan descendants that evolved fur and split their trunk in two for better manipulation.
For their lore, I imagine them taking shelter in caves where they would find and begin farming fungi like some ants do since the droughts that accompany ice ages destroyed their crops. Gardening and farming would become important parts of their culture and their funeral rites would include the dead being used as fertilizer
* Merfolk, hand flapper descendants that became aquatic, seal-like posthumans
The only lore I have for them is that they became aquatic as a result of the aridification of their environment forcing them to spend more time in the water.
They are among the least fleshed out species
* Hivers, temptor descendants that survived the comet strike by scavenging and learning to ration food which helped them evolve sapience and become fully eusocial.
Hiver society is comprised of:
A queen, responsible for passing laws and producing more workers, soldiers and the like
several younger females that serve as advisors before becoming queens themselves once they reach a certain age and become sessile
drones aka reproductive males
workers and soldiers, sterile males tasked with gathering resources and defending the colony respectively
* Sprinters, strider descendants that survived by initially using their color changing abilities as a threat display, rappidly shifting between different colors to confuse and dissorient the killer chickens. As a response, the chickens evolved better camouflage to more easily ambush the striders, starting a predator-prey armsrace that resulted in both the chickens and the striders diversifying into many different lineages. The sprinters belong to a lineage that avoided predation by being too fast to catch, that evolved sapience thanks to their dexterous hands and social behaviour which allowed them to use tools and eventually drive their predators to extinction.
* Survivors (special thanks to u/AskGoverntale on reddit for the name and parts of their lore), prey descendants that became arborial, orangutang-like posthumans on the level of stone age humans. Their numbers would start dropping when the killerfolk migrated to their teritories since both species competed for the same resources and the killerfolk had the advantage of better social structures. Despite that, they manged to survive in some isolated pockets of forest and become cryptids in killerfolk society
Next up are the blindfolk and mantelope descendants, which I have made 2 descendants for each
* Molemen, blindfolk descendants that evolved burrowing adaptations (Before anyone says anything, I have already been informed that their claws are too long and thin to be good for digging), allowing them to escape being crushed by digging their own caves. For their culture, since they're completely blind, I imagine things like social status being determined by sound with bells being a common piece of jewlery.
They would eventually discover the surface which, to them, was like discovering an entirely new world, one that they would be hesitant to explore at first, with it being common practice for convicts to be exiled there with the hopes of them dying, which they not only survived but thrived and formed their own civilizations there
* Spidermen, same as the previous idea except they became way more adapted for burrowing before starting to spend more time on the surface and evolving into spider-like creatures with legs derived from fingers
* Atavists, mantelope descendants that reevolved semidexterous hands due to an atavistic mutation that allowed them to keep their sapience and become the fastest advancing posthuman civilization thanks to all the knowledge they obtained from the qu
* Atavists (couldn't come up with a new name but the previous one works for this one too), mantelope descendants that lost their sapience like in the book before reevolving it later on
You might notice that I didn't make a bone crusher descendant and that is for several reasons.
The first is that their extinction makes no sense. It's not revealed why exactly they died out, just that they did while implying that it was caused by their scavenging lifestyle which makes no sense, nothing was stopping them from hunting or even domesticating and leaving the meat to ferment.
That brings me to my second point, which is that I can't think of any ideas that wouldn't just be copying the rot eaters from Vanga-Vangog's All Other Tomorrows which I tried to avoid with my takes
A remake of the sapient pterosaur I made a while ago
