✦ Hunter and the Hunted ✦

Finally able to show off my contribution piece I made last year for Happy Hunting!: A Monster Hunter Zine! This piece was a challenge and a blast to work on at the same time, so happy to have been a contributor!! 🥹

Ended up with a piece inspired by what it felt like for me hunting Odogaron for the first time~

My entry for the newly-released Monster Hunter zine! It was a ton of fun to be a part of this project with so many other talented creatives. I worked hard and enjoy how this piece came out.

Nergigante: A terrible elder dragon that appears when other elders are in the vicinity. Its penchant for destruction is well documented.

These two monsters - Nargacuga and Tigrex - have such unique designs, and capturing their aggressive poses was a fun challenge! Which one is your favorite?

Nargacuga sculpture ended up measuring 27 × 27 × 19 cm (10.6 × 10.6 × 7.5 inches), while Tigrex came out at 34 × 18 × 8 cm (13.4 × 7.1 × 3.1 inches).

Together, these two weigh more than 1 kilogram (2.2 lbs)! Quite impressive for a pair of creatures made from clay. They may not be life-sized, but they definitely have some presence.
