Alright I'm not done yapping about the lamb and marchosias actually. They are so. Interesting to me.
Like both of them built their following from rescuing people wronged by the bishops, their respective followings view their leader as a hero and savior.
Their leading styles are distinctly different and they have very different values in how their followings should be treated. Marchosias values freedom over all else and the lamb seems to value their followers protection over all else (I think? Maybe? Idk if that's the right word) and marchosias isn't even a religious figure, but I feel like they do a good job mirroring each other.
Marchosias hates the lamb because they're a god invading and attacking their pack, the lamb hates marchosias because they were instructed by their vengeful ancestors to eliminate him and the free pack for taking over and defiling their old home (and what happened with rami probably) they both see the other as an invader and themselves as the hero.
Now marchosias isn't exactly good guy by any means, he's hurt people for his own gain, he's experimented on his followers, and he's let his pack destroy the remnants of the ancestral home of a displaced and genocided people (likely having taken it over after they were displaced but BEFORE the genocide took place which makes it even more messed up) but despite all of that, the lamb (regardless of how the lamb is characterized) isn't entirely in the right either, perpetuating their ancestors rage is only making things worse, especially with the spread of the rot.
Personally I interpret the lamb going along with their ancestors vengeful desires without question as the lamb feeling pressured to do right by them, and being in denial that theyed do anything super bad.
With that in mind. Can you imagine them finally catching on with what the souls of the lambs are planning? Potentially seeing marchosias and the other members of the free pack getting infected with the rot and feeling guilty about it?
I mean. The lamb CAN get that one ritual where they cleanse the rot from a follower,
Imagine the lamb actively deciding to help marchosias and offer him their abilities in return for a truce, and marchosias has to battle with the very ideals of what the free pack stands on vs the fact that *this very well may be the ONLY way they're gonna find a cure*
Despite some of his less desirable actions, marchosias still seems to care about his pack- is keeping his pride more important than his people?
Maybe the two of them do come to a tentative agreement, the lamb provides them with the cure, and the lamb is allowed to traverse ewefall unharmed so they can get to the bottom of this and stop the rot all together. Perhaps marchosias also demands the indoctrinated pack members back- or maybe the lamb suggests leaving the other cured pack members WITH them so they can stay safe from potentially being infected again until the rot is dealt with for good
Throughout all of it marchosias is pulling his fur out because of how much he cannot STAND this. He's so pissed. (Especially after learning the bishops are in the lambs cult also)
And the lamb is dealing with their own grief throughout all of this so they aren't really having a good time either.
I don't have much else to say but, with their similarities and differences and their mutual distaste for each other I think their dynamic would go hard. Got that mutually beneficial allyship that they both can't stand.

If we're talking ONLY suggestive: Lamb/Marchosias walks in on the other getting (un)dressed. And all we see is the reaction of the one walking in Talking about Woolhaven Sheep and one casually drops the idea of 'repopulation' with the other 'Draw me like one of your french girls pose' but the head of the other hides anythig beyond suggestive
So that one scene from The Proposal, yeah??

Two very specific people to blame for this >> I have expanded on the imagined wambs Rodell the oldest. Most like Marchosias in that he is all logic all the time, except when he's the Crashout King. Thinks the last god should lead as an example but not put themself above The Law, as it were. Would like to be the crown bearer to lead people into peace and prosperity. Continues Marchosias's research on charged shards. Lowkey obnoxious about his intelligence tho.. Lynice the middle child. Awful amalgamation of Lamb and Marchosias. Super outgoing and personable but would rather hole herself up in her lab and do unethical experiments concerning Rot and other substances that fuck up the body. Couldn't care less about gods and crowns. She WILL pout, don't even think she won't, especially if you won't let her play with corpses. Can and will dropkick a bitch. Opalia the baby. They take most after the Lamb. They love to play and draw. They don't concern themself with gods and crowns and leadership and all that. Leave that to the older two! They just wanna have fun all the time. Loves playing with their Uncle Leshy but no one else likes when the two are together. The actual smartest of the three; loves to rub this in Rodell's face. Can recite complex equations and sciences off the top of their head. Would rather skip around.

. . . Considering the idea I gave to your lamb about wambs . . . Pregnant Lamb?
I like to think Marchosias and the lamb would make a good team? Like Ive been ruminating on this for a bit but. I've imagined how it would've been had they met before the lamb became a vessel and before Marchosias became the leader of the free pack.
I think they would've agreed on most things. They'd probably help each other out a lot and ended up as pretty good friends with dreams of tearing down the bishops together.
And then they get separated. Marchosias flees to ewefall, the lamb dies. And looooots of time passes
And then Marchosias hears of a crown bearer in his pack's territory, and he's determined to find what god dares to show their face to him.
And then he goes to meet this crusader in person. And finds his old friend.
I think that could go one of two ways- either them being really excited to see each other and dropping all of their biases against each other just to reconnect. And they make their friendship everyone else's problem
Orr (the more likely option probably) they're both so stuck in their own heads about their missions and values that despite their past, they still have to view the other as the enemy. And it all continues like canon. Except. Alot sadder. 👍
