Hello! Ive picked up my remaster of my 2022 romeo and juliette painting! The painting is from 2024 but it was sort of exhausting to continue so i left it for a bit. Now with procreates new brush update im back!!! Ive spent 4 hours working on it today so far, mainly on the column! This is a before and after :3

Happy 10-Year Anniversary to my favorite book, and the start of my favorite trilogy!

This is unlike any other illustration project I've tackled, before. I wanted to illustrate them because... well, Simon's sword and Baz's violin are both iconic props in the story, and are wrapped up so thoroughly in each character's identity. I do love them so.

Simon’s eyes lift to the tallest tower, its stark stone walls veined with twisted, leafless vines. The black hollow of the highest window. He thinks of it as a pit. As a sinkhole. As dark water. Something that would inevitably pull him under.
