The scenes at the end of Fragmentary Passage give me maybe a tiny bit of hope. Not a lot, but a little. I mean they are training her SPECIFICALLY so they can have more hands on deck for the battle, and leaving her behind would be purposefully weakening their force. I mean, Xehanort was pretty clear that if the 7 of Light didn’t fight him, he’d just go grab the princesses anyway, so like. They aren’t protecting her or the worlds by leaving her on the side lines.I am willing to bet that she does end up having some special abilities because of her princess of heart status - at the very least she should have complete immunity to darkness based attacks and the realm of darkness and all that. Really, Kairi is the perfect person to go into the realm of darkness to get Aqua - not only does she have a connection through the inheritance, but her heart is immune to the effects of being exposed to darkness for a long time. If heartless are indeed attracted to strength of heart, not light or darkness, then she’s no more likely to attract them there than anyone else, and she could act as a beacon of sorts.So that could mean that she won’t get left behind, but still will end up off somewhere not involved in the main quest, depending on how the tasks they have ahead are divided. It is my understanding that unversed come from the method by which Vanitas was created, that he was torn from Ventus’s heart and that method leaves a sort of... incompleteness from which the unversed flow. So if Kairi has the ability to summon or create constructs, they would be of a different nature. But it’d still be super cool to see something like that. I’m quite curious what her fighting style will be. I hope its not just “generic healer” she’s a badass with a keyblade in TWTNW. Let Kairi Smash Heartless 2k18
