Remember when Pokemon was good? I do ...it's not now. I feel so betrayed. Turns out you can only catch this thing if 1,000,000 players clear the event. But it doesn't go to your game. It goes to Pokemon home. But you don't get to capture it yourself either. And you only get it if you deposited or moved a pokemon from Pokemon home within a specific week. Forget, and its gone forever. And then there's a big bonus gift if you have the dlc, but if you don't, you're lucky to get anything at all! It's not like you can use the gift currency to keep up to date with the #paytoplay metagame of move tutors and new items/evolutions. I don't know about you guys, but I think that #pokemon has gone downhill lately. It's a beautiful franchise, but with terrible game flaws... Don't even get me started on dlc crashes and raid battle cues... #pokemonsword #pokemonshield Crossing my fingers for #pokemonsnap tho. Today is one of the saddest days. (And it truly is to me, weird as that may appear). I booted up my #GameboyColor and found that my two eldest and fondest games are now unable to retrieve their saved data 😂😭 I've owned these guys since I was 5 years old. #PokemonSilver was my very first game ever. On my very first handheld device. Before I even owned anything else... I would go everywhere with my GBC and Pkmn game. Even in the most current of years from this past January (2020) ...And it is so sad and heart wrenching to see them go. I know that these games had worked within the last year and were good. The one solace that I can hold on to is that these games were one of the most amazing things in my lifetime. If it wasn't for my parents buying these games, my English growing up may not have been anywhere near as solid. My spelling - trash. And my comprehension of words and biology would be so very incomplete compared to now. I've got to thank my family for supporting me too, without them, I wouldn't of had the experiences, met the people I did, or learnt the English language as well, as I would have without this series. Thank you for spending the time with me mum and dad to teach me words like #Feraligatr . Even though it made no sense and you struggled too :) These memories will stay with me for a lifetime... In fact, they are my lifetime. And one day, I will do my best to teach others these lessons too. In my heart and Soul you go. Less forever we forget to know.
