“H-hello there and good a-afternoon.” the nurse smiled at the girl as she turned her head and noticed the other walking into the nurse’s office. After quickly rushing over to the girl she introduced herself, “I’m Tsumiki Mikan and I h-help out down here as the assistant nurse. It’s certainly a p-pleasure to meet you and if there’s anything a-at all that I can help you with just let me know. I’ll b-be more than glad to lend you a h-hand.”

“I’m afraid I was kind of a klutz and sprained my ankle.  I just need some ice and maybe some aspirin if you have some.” She smiled, taking a seat in the office. [- ♚ -]

She didn’t want to lie.  Her friends’ deserved the truth, even the ones at school. “Don’t worry about me Kaze kun.  I’m smart enough to not take on more than I can handle.  It was simply a rumor I heard.” That was true enough.  The sees leader hadn’t had any personal contact with the drugs so far, but she believed Shinjiro when he said they were becoming a huge issue. [- ♚ -]

“Huh, yeah, they do seem pretty busy today. I couldn’t even get Yosuke-senpai t’say hi with me, said he had to work or somethin’.” Kanji raised an eyebrow at the idol, his face questioning her choice of words. “Uh, a hot action movie? Ya mean like, where there’s a lot of action? Sure I guess we can do that, ain’t like I had anythin’ else planned today.”

“Well, let’s go then!  My scooters not too far away.  You should go get yours and we can meet up back here.” She offered. [-ღ-]

What is something you think your mun could change about themselves?

“Good.”  She mentally facepalmed, realizing she’d sounded like she’d been happy about his cold.  “I mean..  I’ve heard about some bad medicine going around and just wanted to make sure you were clear of it.” There, that was a solid truth, though she didn’t need to mention their connections with personas.   [- ♚ -]

“The weather is nice today.” She said, stretching her arms out into the sky as she walked.  The breeze felt nice, and it was sunny, but not too hot.  “The walk will do us good too.  Hopefully it’ll help work off those beef bowls.” The sees leader joked.   [- ♚ -]

“Yeah, the weather’s not too bad.”, he couldn’t help but grin at watching her stretch her arms upwards, “Though we’d have to do more than just a simple walk to work off the beef bowls.”, he bumps his shoulder with his elbow, “Hey I know, I’ll race race ya!”, and off he starts, doing a brisk jog with his jacket still over his shoulder.

The brunette couldn’t think of another woman that would accept such a challenge, much less be able to keep up with him, but her training as leader of sees gave her an edge over any normal female.  She caught up with him, and laughed, enjoying the feel of the wind on her face.  Who knew running could be so fun?  “So.. What do I get if I win?” She huffed the question out, her breathing erratic from the exercise, but she still kept her pace next to him.   [- ♚ -]

Kanji rubbed the back of his neck, “Well, it was mostly as a welcome back present, but I didn’t finish it in time. Been sorta busy with running the store when Ma has errands t’run. Sorry for spoilin’ it I guess, but I’ll just wait until it’s finished. Only take me a couple days.”

“Um.. I guess the other senpai are busy right now, so why don’t we go to Okina Theater.  I hear they’re playing a pretty hot action movie right now.  How about it?” She offered. moving past her shyness with some Risette oomph.  She could do this.  She believed in herself, and besides, it was just Kanji.  She’d known him for a couple of years now. [-ღ-]

“Have you seen the tower?” He motioned in the general direction of the school. In the distance, the top of the tower could be seen, looming over the city. “That’s Tartarus. It’s a place filled with shadows. Part of being a member of S.E.E.S. is exploring it, because it might hold some answers about the Dark Hour and about Shadows.”

“That’s the tower they were talking about then.. No perhaps labyrinth is a better fitting term for it by the way they described it.”  Her hues narrowed at the tower in the distance.  The thing was huge and creepy, but she was done running.  “I turned your friends down.. Because I was scared.” She admitted.  “I’m done running now though.  I have this ability just like you guys do, and I want to use it to help people” Minako decided. [- ♚-]

  “Likewise, if you ever have any worries or concerns, please feel free to vent to me or ask me for advice.”  She smiled at his next words.  “I never had any siblings.  It must be nice.” She said, her smile turning a bit sadder. Her parents were long since dead too.  [- ♚ -]
