Hello! I’m back!

Thought I’d do a new self-drawing as my first post coming back ☺️

Another sketch drawing of one of my characters. One of the moments that deeply affected Shadow in his life. This is him holding his friend’s (friend’s name is Leo) newborn child, processing the death of Leo and Leo’s wife.

My first (messy) animatic with my two OC characters, Shadow and Scarlet. It was quite a learning experience to do this, but it was quite fun!

The music/audio I used was @randomtomiokagiyuusimp’s original audio. Didn’t know how to get it to work here, so I used the Lalal.ai app to get the audio and fit the timing for my animatic. Hope that’s ok to do. 👀

Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy it! 😊

Mi primer animatic con mis personajes originales, Shadow y Scarlet. Fue un aprendizaje en acer esto, pero fue muy divertido!

La música/audio que usé fue @randomtomiokagiyuusimp’s audio original. No supe cómo hacerle funcionar aquí, so use el app, Lalal.ai, para agarrar el audio y que queda bien el tiempo con mi animatic. Espero que esta bien hacer eso. 👀

Day 2 / Prompt 2: Pumpkin

Day 1: Leaves

Late to the party, but I’m going to try.

Finished!

I finally got to draw one of my favorite Critical Role characters, Caduceus Clay. I only got to see half of The Mighty Nein Campaign (Campaign 2), but this was one of the characters that resonated with me in certain ways. He was the calm one in the group that was always there to give support and was ready to listen. I loved his way of thinking about life, and I also love that whenever he had his chance to confront his enemies through words, no malice is there but he does it in a way that ends up confounding them.

“Pain doesn’t make people, it’s love that makes people” was one of the lines that stood out when he spoke to the cruel wizard, Trent Ikithon. You got to watch the whole scene, but basically Caduceus put Ikithon in his place that made me cheer along with the other Critical Role cast members.

I did a redraw of a digital drawing I did back in 2017 that I deeply loved. Then and now.

I love this dance scene with Scarlet and Shadow! I’ve come a long way drawing these two characters.

“Interesting” facts about me:

▫️I have a bad habit of losing mechanical pencils and kneaded erasers. When I can’t find them for a couple of days, I would buy new ones to replace them. 🤦🏻‍♀️😂

▫️I’m a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It’s helped me through tough times, learn a little bit of myself and how God sees me, and see the blessings around me.

▫️I don’t like makeup as I have mentioned in the Meet the Artist drawing. I have nothing against it, I just don’t like applying makeup on myself. I’ve always had this feeling that I look fake whenever I try makeup on. I like makeup on other people, but just not on me. 😂 Also, my eyes and skin get irritated when I have makeup on for a long time, so I might just be a bit allergic to it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

▫️I’m an introvert, but I’m trying to be a little bit open with others and try new things. Baby steps, I’m telling you.

Second image: This was the original sketch drawing I made of human form Mele back in 2014.

She can change into her human form whenever she feels like going on land. She’s not fond of humans, but she appreciates the arts, opera, and theater, which are the only reasons she would transform into her human form to enjoy their creations and entertainment.

She has gone on these trips to the opera theater on her own for most of her life, but after meeting Shadow and slowly becoming friends, she would take him to the opera theater (Shadow loved it). She found that she loved sharing the experience with him whenever he took a pause of his pirate life. She’d treasure those moments close to her heart.

There’s this WEBTOON comic I’ve been reading lately that’s called Ghost on the Roof. It’s a modern take of The Phantom of the Opera (I’m a sucker for any good Phantom of the Opera content), and I’m completely enjoying it! I love this artist’s/author’s drawing style! (Go read her comic!)

Hey everyone! It’s been awhile since I’ve last posted. Been quite busy lately that I haven’t had time to draw anything. I’ve had the desire, but I somehow became afraid of going back to drawing again. I felt like I was falling behind and was scared that the drawings wouldn’t be good enough compared to my past art pieces. I still have those feelings present, but I’ve been working my hardest to overcome those negative thoughts. It’s a work in progress, but at least I’m doing something about it, even if it’s just baby steps.
