This blog is run by a 22-year-old FTM AuDHD traumagenic system with around 15 known alters or clones, including our subsystem clones. We use He/Him/They/Them pronouns.
We recognize and stress the importance of communicating that the experiences of those of us who are systems formed through trauma and dissociation are fundamentally different from other forms of plurality.
This distinction is crucial to ensuring the safety and resources of systems with trauma and should go without saying in our opinion.
Our primary focus here is to create a safe space for ourself and other trauma-based systems to connect, share resources, and find support within a community that truly understands the unique challenges we face.
While we respect and acknowledge that people can experience plurality for various reasons, such as religious beliefs.
We also believe that the system community was created specifically for those of us who have experienced trauma to find somewhere we can feel safe to express our experiences after living a life where it wasn't and maybe still isn't a safe thing to do. The are other communities in which people who experience other forms of plurality can find this kind of support.
So while we welcome and support everyone who can maintain respect for others including those who are plural for reasons outside of trauma.
We do not in any way condone role-playing or making light of the serious difficulties that us and other trauma-based systems endure.
Those who engage in or support such behavior, or similar behaviors will be blocked, as our priority is to maintain a respectful and supportive environment for those of us who genuinely are in need for this kind of space.
