And about the twink thing.. Armand is canonically not even 140 lbs, his weight gets brought up MULTIPLE times in the show but, of course, people can't overmasculinize a man of colour if he is canonically skinny so instead they choose to only take into consideration Assad's physique which of fucking course doesn't fit the character because no healthy man who is 6 foot should be 130 lbs

When you start viewing Armand like a teenager (as Assad said we should) literally everything he’s ever done makes sense. That’s why his decisions are so bad and he’s so impulsive.

He’s 517, but physically he’s 27 (but he’s also possibly physically younger than that and doesn’t remember) but mentally, he’s still that teenager Marius bought from the brothel. Sometimes you look at him and how he’s acting and he’s just so Amadeo. That’s why he often looks like a kid playing dress up in his dad’s clothes and why his mood changes so quickly.
