It was their response to the 2011 disaster in the Tohoku region and toured around the affected areas between the 27/09 and 13/10 this year.

I really like this conversion by Spanish architects Nook. The refurbishment leaves the existing floor tiles in place to reveal the previous wall configuration of the flat. A few photos taken from my recent trip to Japan using my olympus om10. It was part of a study trip to the Tohoku region to document the earthquake and tsunami damage caused in March 2011.
