Many, many people celebrated Pulse. We were told we deserved it. That it was God’s punishment for our sin of loving the same sex. We are sent messages like these I received in 2018:

We in the community often call the victim count 49+ to include the survivors who couldn’t live with the pain.

The event was never officially declared a hate crime or targeted homophobic attack and is rarely listed as one in databases.

At our vigils for those slaughtered, Extremist Christian groups showed up to protest, holding signs like this:

Please understand how much more than just a mass shooting this was. We are still to this day harassed and told we deserved it by some.

how do you not understand that you ARE intentionally erasing history? the things I discuss in my reblog are things very few people know about this attack. you would prefer to bury those things - perhaps alongside your conscience and critical thinking skills? - than to allow a woman to speak freely? just bc said woman doesn’t believe in the existence of gender, but still believes in personal freedom and that trans people deserve safety, protection, and equal rights to all others?

The deadliest mass shooting in modern American history was at a country music festival in 2017.

As always, males that rape females have a lovely future ahead of them that must be safeguarded, so punishing them for having a bit of fun would just be too cruel. What happens to females doesn't matter.

Understand that in this particular case we know for a fact that the boys did it - because they filmed themselves doing it and uploaded the videos onto the internet bragging about it. And they still got away with it.

The judge said "poor boys, we can't judge these adorable children, putting them in jail would ruin the stellar future such amazing human beings surely have ahead of them, let's just let them get away with a slap on the wrist and a kiss goodnight". Which means the judge is also a rapist. No, he won't lose his job over this.

Understand also that the only reason we're talking about this particular case is not because it's so unusual for women and girls to get raped - it's an almost universal experience from what I, as a woman, can tell. It's just that this time it's made it to the news. And with all the evidence from the self-confessed and bragging about rapists justice still didn't get done, and now it's taking the prime-minister himself speaking out on behalf of the victims for jthe justice system to reconsider if it's a good diea to coddle rapists, because otherwise the outcome would be the usual one: rapists winking at fellow rapists and letting them go, while the retraumatized victims state they wish they had never asked for justice because there's none to be had.

In the mean time I'm thinking to myself "Correct, so next time just kill the bastards if at all possible." If it weren't for the fact that women's right to self defense is as elusive as their right to justice when they are raped.

Rape has been decriminalized in Western society. Women are treated as citizens only when it's time to do work and pay taxes. When they ask for their rights as citizens all of a sudden the reality of their real status as sub-human slaves asserts itself.

Don't have kids or this is what you'll be condemning them to.

Rape case sparks renewed scrutiny of the justice system

Has rape become the perfect crime?

Rape convictions in England and Wales have fallen to a new record low. In the year ending March 2020, 99% of rapes reported to police resulted in no legal proceedings.

However in Portugal the group of judges who tried these anti-social psychopaths wasn't of the opinion that such promising young men deserved to be coddled and protected, and instead gave them sentences of 7 to 8 years.

That still means they'll all be out on "good behaviour" in half the time or after they've served only 3/4 of the sentence, but so low is the bar that I'm comparatively speaking happy.

And what I mean by happy comparatively speaking is that they should be executed because, as we know, men can't be rehablitated. They'll do it again, they'll spend their whole lives doing it.

Rebecca Myers has dedicated her life to trying to change the most brutal of Britain’s serial rapists and abusers. When people hear that, they always want her to reveal the “worst” thing she has heard.

Go on, they say, as though it’s an episode of The Killing or CSI. Myers, who is a forensic psychologist working with deviant criminals, will give away a few things, such as the fact that she can’t look at a table knife casually left in the butter over breakfast after her prison housed a man who stabbed his girlfriend in the bath and left the knife behind, stuck in. Or that the theme tune to Coronation Street gives her chills. One of her first cases was a man who went on a three-year raping spree, breaking into the homes of single women while wearing an animal mask. On one occasion he hid behind the sofa of his next victim in his terrifying costume as she, oblivious and happy, watched her favourite soap opera.

The actual worst thing? She won’t tell me that — she is scared it will contaminate me too. “I have never told a soul, and never will.” That’s her job, to suffer so that others don’t, to save other women.

One of the worst things she has heard wasn’t exactly a crime. It was after a lifetime of getting into the heads of these men through a gruelling and expensive rehabilitation programme for sex offenders that thousands of male prisoners in this country undertook over a two-decade period, at a taxpayer cost of an estimated £100 million. She personally started working with the Sex Offender Treatment Programme (SOTP) when she was 22, soon after she joined one of Britain’s most notorious prisons, known for the number of inmates convicted for sexual or violent offences. She worked with them, including the mask-wearing rapist, out of idealism and trust.

Then, in 2017, after Myers had spent 16 years on the front line of the SOTP, the results of a national evaluation came in. The SOTP didn’t work. It was abruptly abandoned. She had spent so long attempting to change people who had done horrible things, and when they were released they went out and did them again at just the same rate as the men who hadn’t attempted any change.

And it kind of snowballed into "actually, being disabled is awesome and you're a nazi fascist if you want your baby to be healthy". And so they started branding women who don't want to/can't dedicate their lives to caring for severely disabled children as Hitler.

So it's cool to yeet a perfectly healthy fetus for any reason but if you abort primarly because the fetus will be a severely disabled child- youre scum. So they want women to have disabled and diseased babies to virtue signal ideological purity.

There's such a strong desire in both the left and the right to smooth over all these parts of life that are ugly and unfair, and disability is oftentimes one of those things. The right blames you or your parents, or calls you a faker, or tells you to pull on your bootstraps. The left tries to convince you the only problem is the system and if you love yourself more you can basically fix yourself.

This. I think telling people their disability would be cured 100% by systems or self acceptance is just as invalidating as saying they're faking or not trying hard enough.

I'm disabled. One disability is that I'm blind. Being blind sucks. Pointing out that I'm blind is not a "bad thing". BEING blind is not shameful. Yes it sucks to live it, but to deny the reality of disability intrinsicaly points to a level of shame.
