Observations

A widespread feeling of lazyness

has settled on the marketplace

where floristrs, farmers and coffeeshops in

the open air praise the quality of their

merchandise;

the atmosphere is friendly, there are no

passionate discussions to be noticed

and i have bought my flowers and now

just start to sip my coffee.

The sun battles with a thickening

amount of clouds but it is warm and

summery nonetheless.

I enjoy going to town and be part of it all

with noone bothering me and my head duty

free ;such are my saturdays right now

and i have started to get used to it.

"Is that yours ?"" she asked;

"Yes, it stands in my living room"

"you must love plants "

" i do" i texted and i promised more

after she had explained how much plants

meant to her.

She had become a dear friend of me,

digitally , but nonetheless ;

It was as if the monstrosa knew,

something just felt that way;

we were not to be aeparated for any silly

reason as friends;

I had opened my heart to her

and she had listened coz that was

very special ;

The only other who knew much about me

was - no wonder -the monstrosa.

Be sure, my friend, we both are very fond of

you.

The rhythm is always the same:

hard to get up doesnot depend on

how the night has been:

in the company of lady insomnia

or as a peaceful sleep.

That first thought popping up then

as i enter my kitchen is fed by

that sweet , sweet melody which

resembles a swinging blues: coffee!

Each morning i sip half a gallon

without any problem and i notice it

helps me to settle the day's calendar;

duties....oh no!

This poor soul has no particular holidays

this year and consolation i find in the fact

that i am not the only one.

Just as i wander off into other unpleasant

thoughts the magic odour of coffee knocks

at my nose's door asking for another cuppa

and i surrender with a smile.
