I also just think Spamton is just kind of. Like that. But at the start he’s a lot more uncaring about what he says, just going full “I need to manipulate this guy into giving me all his money” mode until he starts accidentally caring about Tenna and… is still pretty mean to him… but Tenna’s would be used to his shenanigans by then and Spamton wouldn’t go as far with it as he used to. Also, what’s a little bit of carefully laid out manipulations between friends???? I think there’d still be a lot of manipulation between them but Spamton would just start getting sweatier and sweatier about it and Tenna would start getting way too emotional about wanting to know Spamton’s secret and it would definitely not at some point turn into metaphor for anything when he asks him to please please just trust him and tell him already. they’ve known each other for so long now, what was he doing wrong???? Like that one “finally- finally?” line really sticks with me I think he was just projecting alot of his feeling surrounding Spamton into “I NEED this guy to tell me his secret already!!!!” like still trying to convince himself he’s got everything under control all according to plan when they’re low-key getting gay with it (NOT the plan!!!). They would both do this actually.

That being said. I think Spamton would put him in one of those fair dunking tanks. And Tenna would sit there all jolly kicking his legs like “According to Spamton this will get me AMAZING ratings!!!” and Spamton would throw big heavy rocks directly at the glass.
