Three things that give Charlie’s mummy life...cats, theatre and Disney! Was at the magic Kingdom on Weds at 12.30 am, and this skinny, scared little scrap of a black cat ran out from the bushes in front of Cinderella’s Castle. This was so special for me, I really miss the fur babies when I’m away. In 30 years of Florida trips, I’d barely seen a cat. This trip, I found a small wildcat under some bushes in my resort hotel (happy and healthy and said hello). The concierge said there were kittens about and they were being looked after and rehomed by a cast member). To meet this little guy at the Castle made my trip. He did not look like he was doing well though, and must have been super hungry to come out and brave the public (even at that time it was busy). If anyone is in the MK this week, please look for him and feed if you can! An MK cast member said their policy, unlike Disneyland, is to remove to a ‘facility’, which will almost inevitably be a kill shelter (rehoming a feral is hard). @waltdisneyworld if you see this, I have adopted from all over the world.
