ok i never watched/read all of inuyasha, so my question is: does sesshoumaru actually take care of rin, ever, or does he just keep her around to mess with jaken

You'd probably think I'm crazy for saying this, but I don't like that people try to make it look like it is an irrefutable truth that Sesshōmaru is in love with Kagura almost as much as I don't like that people try to exclude on principle any possibility that he could be in love with her. In fact, I want to go so far as to say that if Rumiko Takahashi ever openly, flat-out, unequivocally stated that "Oh, by the way, yes, Sesshōmaru did love Kagura" I would be... disappointed. Because that just spoils the fun. Because what I love about sesskagu is exactly that knowledge that at 99% Sesshōmaru does not have romantic feelings for her, but that, despite this, there's still that 1%. That 1% is so irresistible, so addictive. All I want is that 1%. I don't care for a boring 100%.
