I love running this blog, I have ever since 2012. My followers here are incredible, and I was especially touched with how this blog could and did connect people all across the world over something that once brought us joy. Can you remember, 40 thousand of us, bonding over our love of the same content?

But today, I realized that I cannot sit here at my computer as a nonbinary person and spread a message of love and pride in a fandom whose creator has made explicitly clear that she does not believe in the rights of our trans and nonbinary family, friends, and neighbors, in addition to consistently using antisemitic, racist, homophobic, and slavery apologist rhetoric. My side poetry and personal blog will still be live, but not the Harry Potter blog.
