What we call a developed nation still has regions that still live in poverty and its housing still looks like a third world country. Homelessness never really was never a solved issue. Was it? Pockets of feudalism still exist in this country.Pockets of social inequality still exist,the cast system still rules here, so progress is not really a constant cycle that benefits all. This only shows life on the most civilized society of today still has echoes of a past society with all the aches and grievances of old. Sometimes is good to remind the world that in all societies there are elements that remind us of our differences and no matter how perfect we think we are ,the ugly and evil still exist in every country of this planet.Once we are clear of our differences in languages ,food culture, religions ,and our education,we can begin to heal and grow again. Once we realize that technology alone won’t bridge our human suffering and other problems ,that we keep struggling to make ends meet ,we keep allowing robots to run our systems and more job cuts are here to stay ,what should we do? We are reaching a tipping point folks,and nowhere this fissures are more obvious than here.With an aging population and a shrinking work force,the economy is indeed suffering. With a lower birth rate the message is on the wall. I have traveled across this country and seen much. If i ever had to declare as a witness for the crime of the end of the American Dream ,well ,here’s the proof. Every writer knows why he chose this occupational hazard,this psychological trap that can only lead to one’s discovery of the self or the slippery slope to a deadly vice ,called alcoholism. But it doesn’t have to end with one’s existence gone ,nope just a temporary existential crisis that will turn your world upside down ,alone and friendless but alive nevertheless. Among the many reasons to become a writer ,mine was an unrequited love, desire and passion that I brought from a past life, she was everything to me ,but ,sooner rather than later, I saw the irrefutable truth and we parted ways,I will spare you of the nuts and bolts mechanically speaking and just like this old man and his faithful companion,I did end up on a field alone . Although I was much younger ,the pain ,the struggle and the lack of experience melted into writing prose.There was some drinking but that was quickly put out like the good fireman that I was back then.Ha! Through mysterious and tacit advice and strange circumstances,I found myself face to face with another of my past lives chapter that turned me into a shaman ,and the connections there were truly remarkable to say the least,but that’s a fact for another chapter. Pieces of a dream ,that’s what I called this pic.A home where everything fits perfectly ,where the very architecture of this style of home relaxes me so much that I fell in love instantly with it.The location is also ideal.Nowadays when everyone is talking about designing tiny homes that push for a smaller carbon footprint where the house is basically a soapbox filled with drawers and magic walls that are hollow to be used as foldable storage,and furniture that comes connects to the frame of the house to save space.I’m running away from all that tiny space fever,to find my center of gravity on a design such as this one,where my body and soul seek comfort and warmth plus the tranquility of a country home.Words by Sergio GuymanProust.

This planet is indeed gorgeous but also toxic and dangerous it can kill you in minutes or instantly. The constant rumbling and internal magma spewing from a volcano ,the gases that make its way to the caldera can cause violent reactions,then there’s the earthquakes and volcanic eruptions that can blow the whole top can happen undersea or on the surface. And they can mean the end of a civilization and the emergence of a new island . Pompeii ,Hawaii,big island , Sakurajima , Japan , the list is long and the timeline uncertain.volcanologists loaded with new gadgets and top of the line computers are getting better at detecting possible seismic tremors and future eruptions,that can send our civilization into the abyss ,or a blanket our skies with ashes can block the Sun and send us into an ice age,which we are technically still in ,starving and killing millions , sending the survivors underground for who knows how many years.And then folks there’s the strange possibility that we can be rescued and sent to an exoplanet with the help of our extraterrestrial cousins.As they have done it with the Anasazi and other indigenous people.
