Current Reviews: "Thor: Ragnarok" (2017)
THOR REVIEW: "Thor: Ragnarok" is the quintessential Thor film. Read more...
Thor: Ragnarok is the quintessential Thor film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe subverting the tropes audiences have come to expect with charming humor and brilliant direction from Taika Watiti. Ragnarok is the third film in the Thor series within the larger MCU that brings back the character after two years of not being on the big screen (with the exception of a cameo in Doctor Strange).âŚ

Donât let aesthetic blogs fool you, the real 90s aesthetic is âurbanâ and âattitudeâ-filled versions of classic cartoon characters on mass-produced merchandise
Kudos to Porky on that last one for looking like he was marching on Pride Parade â94
Adding to this, Tweety in specific gets a special achievement award because he was so goddamn pissed off for the entire decade
I still have my âurbanâ drawstring bags (officially licensed by disney) I got on the plane in the late 90s/early 2000s
i have never ever though of this as anything other than a permanent part of life. Like this shit is absolutely unescapable to this day in california unless youâre super rich. this is life. Also itâs dragon ball characters & whatever other cartoon is popular lately

#4. Â Night Of The Living Dead (1990)
Directed by Tom Savini
Quotes
Theyâre coming to get you, Barbara! - Johnnie
Yeah, theyâre dead. Theyâre all messed up. - Sheriff McClelland
Theyâre dead, but theyâre cominâ right for us! - Tom
Theyâre so slow. We could just walk right past âem and we wouldnât even have to run. We could just walk right past âem. We have the guns. If weâre careful we could get away. - Barbara
This is something no oneâs ever heard about, and no oneâs ever seen before. This is hell on earth. - Ben
Trivia
Tom Saviniâs originally wanted to start the film in black-and-white, then slowly add color.
Bill 'Chilly Billyâ Cardille appears as a reporter in both the 1968 version and the remake.
Laurence Fishburne and Eriq La Salle both auditioned for the role of Ben.
Contains numerous references to Dawn of the Dead (1978).
The characters take refuge in an isolated farmhouse early in the film. Next to one of the doors, visible in shots of the exterior of the house, is the name of the owner - âM Celesteâ, in nail-on letters in a script font. This seems to be homage to the sailing ship âMarie Celesteâ, which was discovered in the Atlantic Ocean unmanned and under sail heading towards the Strait of Gibraltar in 1872. Her crew was not on board and the only lifeboat gone, but the ship had no damage and was sea worthy. Like the ship, the house was (relatively) undamaged by itâs ordeal and could have been immediately occupied. According to Tom Saviniâs commentary on the DVD, the name is deliberate reference to the state of the house.
canât wait for netflixâs next big original film
@orionali
There was an actual pilot from 2013 about a Jetpack Dracula.
Dead Pilots Society is doing a live reading of the script next month.
