Good Friday, where Toronto's Christian community commemorate the crucification of Jesus on the Friday preceding Easter Sunday. 

No Face? No Problem! (2013). A photographic documentation of the final days of Ferreira Photo Studio, a portrait studio that saw its prime in the 1970s and 1980s when it catered to Toronto's immigrant portuguese community, eager to send their photographs back home. This is a story of an analogue studio trying to survive in times of gentrification and digital photography. It's also a story of a portrait photographer who isn't ready to retire just yet. Better than anyone, he knows that, "You have to have a good reason to take a picture." 

Bringing Back the Zoe (2012). Behind the scenes of Brining Back the Zoe, a video art by Gillian Greenfield, a fellow documentarian and filmmaker, and a classmate at Ryerson University's Documentary Media programme (MFA). In this work she examines how two dancers interact with and interpret pedestrian movement. 

Colour Me Turkman. The Turkman are a nomadic community living in Jordan. These pictures were taken in a wedding in Madaba. 

Fridays in Ajloun (2009). My father and uncles own a little land in Ajloun, in the North of Jordan. On fridays, we spent time with the family there. We picked olives in harvest season, and tried to remember Palestinian springs.
