I was going to put interesting pieced borders around each of these blocks, but I started to test out a border, and I thought it looked worse than just letting the blocks meet and form the secondary triangle pattern. But, that means that rather than putting together 16 of these blocks, I now need 36 to get the quilt to the size I want. I am almost 40% of the way there. Then I will add a border to the whole thing.
Hopefully I have enough fabric, otherwise there will be some unpicking and redesigning involved! I can always reorder the red because it is a Kona cotton, but I have no memory of where the grey came from. Probably Joann’s back in 2019. RIP.
