What would have happened if Fiyero had been burnt in Scarecrow form?

Based on how you describe Elphaba’s spell later on, I doubt it would outright kill him since that’s, ya know, the whole point of the spell.

Would he get a new body from the things around him at the time? Would he come back with bad, but survivable injuries similar to when Mombi forced him out of Nome form? Would Elphaba/her magic step in to prevent it somehow like in Oz when he had his “makeover”? Something else I haven’t accounted for?

Very curious about your thoughts on this.

When in his temporary form it was in anyway shape meant to destroy/harm him to where he could not function the magic would indeed lash out.

My personal headcanon I think it’s a couple months for sure. I like to think they had a thick bond before it all went to hell.

They’re besties your honor, or Jack’s the little brother Dorothy never had haha.

It’s definitely agony, pain, this feeling of something missing, but he knew it would have to come eventually.

He takes these days he knows Elphaba gave him to gather everything, make sure everyone is okay before he eventually falls right behind her. He couldn’t stand the idea of living without her.

But he still cares about his family, so he would do his best to make sure everything is order. That everyone will be okay when they are gone. That Liir lived a happy life, that Dorothy and Ozma will be okay, that Boq and Nimmie, and Glinda will continue onwards.
