Thinking about how most of Susies jokes revolve around her eating something or getting things for free. Its so tragic and sad how her living in poverty manifests as food scarcity all through her characterization. yes I too like weird jumbled platonic relationships but could we perchance not be selective about where we apply that lens and Maybe consider that there is a romantic explanation for that interracial character dynamic. could we even just briefly entertain the idea.
