FOR FUCKS SAKE I recognize that this is likely meant to be a trans supportive posting but @prismatic-bell ffs. Not all Trans folk can TAKE estrogen. I'm not Trans. Why do I know this? Because I took the red pill to help mitigate crippling cramps, and HAD A STROKE at age 26. because no one checked my clotting factors. You know why this matters? Because ANYONE who chooses the "red pill" has this risk. Want to transition to female? MAKE SURE YOU ARENT AT RISK FOR BLOOD CLOTS. no one talks about this enough. Fuck. Mad as fuck. My life was fucked up from that, and I'm ok born and being female. Don't risk it without checking. I'm ok deciding to be ace. I fear what might happen to someone who decided they needed to be female but instead are stuck as male and can no longer have whole body function! I know from my trans friends that they had testing done beforehand which let me breathe and trust that they'd be in my life indefinitely. It scares me to think that someone might experiment without knowing their clotting status, by "borrowing" a prescription or being assisted by a shady or malicious doctor.

If you’re at risk of clots and are trans (or going through menopause) talk to ur health provider about options that’s don’t increase your risk!!!
