no idea what to do after school?
If you too are a stressed high school or college student with no idea what you want to do in the future, here is a fun way to maybe get an idea of what could be right for you!
A while ago I discovered this app that is basically multiple well-known personality tests combined with a new spin that help you discover more about yourself! It âclassifiesâ you as three types of personas, and in my case, they match so well!! You can also compare yourself with friends and see how much more of an introvert you are (high-five to my fellow introverts) or see what traits you have in common! This also works with a whole company - so if you always wanted to know if Google would be the right place for you in terms of work-ethic and approach, here you go! They recently added a new feature allowing you to see how well you work together with a group of other people. So if you just got assigned a new group project (ugh) you could check and see with whom you have the most similar approach to stuff like that!
The app is completely free (thank god), so give it a try here and tell me if you like it!Â
Real talk tips for studying
1. Get up early.
I know, itâs easier said than done. But it is going to be hard for the first 15-20 minutes, maybe even the first hour, but make yourself some coffee, and get the fuck out of that bed.
2. Do 3 useful things right after you get up.
This doesnât have to be âcram one lessonâ or âtake 500 pages of notesâ. No. Brush your teeth, make yourself something nice to drink, comb your hair. Wash your face. Literally whatever you find useful, do it. It may take 10 minutes, but you will feel instantly better when you see youâve done something.
3. Organize your study space.
I donât mean organize all your highlighters by color. I mean arrange everything so it is within your reach. That means when you sit down to finally study, there wonât be any need for you to get up and get something.
4. Take breaks.
Itâs easy to start scrolling through instagram, or facebook when you sit by a 200 page book. Trust me on this. But set an alarm when you plan on taking a break. Make the break your instagram time, or facebook time, or just chill time. Whatever you do, organize your time so you donât leave anything out.
5. Divide your shit.
So you have a 300 page chapter to read. Or a 30 page paper to write. Divide it into smaller parts. For example, I will read through the first 30 pages and then take a break. Repeat. Or, I will write 3 pages and then relax. Repeat. Literally whatever shit you have, divide it into smaller chunks and then just tackle the chunks.
6. Donât listen to music with lyrics.
There are a ton of âstudy musicâ or âmotivational musicâ playlists on Youtube. Blast that. That way, you wonât find yourself mouthing the perfect lyrics to Shape of you, and not knowing shit about what youâve been reading. Iâve been there one too many times and itâs just wasting time.
7. Donât feel bad about not responding to texts, or not hanging out with friends.
There is time to study and time to play. No between. By all means you should go out and have fun. But your work time can only be your work time. That text can wait, that coffee date can wait. During the break you will have more than enough time to catch up. And your friends should understand that, after all, this is important to you so it should be for them too.
8. Drink water! ! !
This is the most used tip, but trust me, you get tired much quicker if youâre not hydrated. Get a nice ass bottle of water and fill that shit up. Everytime you finish a paragraph take a sip. (At least!)
9. Donât worry too much.
Iâve lost countless hours by panicking and trying to reason with myself why I should just quit. And let me tell you, itâs very easy to get stuck in that vicious circle. But when you begin to worry, take a deep breath, drink some water and just do. Read that sentence. Write the opening line to your paper. Underline that unknown word. Just do. It will not go in vain. No effort is ever useless.
10. Relax.
You are not the first one to have trouble with this. You are not the only one struggling with this material. But you can do it. It is possible. In 10 years you wonât remember that godawful task or chapter. But you will remember taking shit into your hands. And that feeling when you accomplish your goal is going to be worth all the while.
Thatâs about it, worked for me. Just be real with yourself. Good luck and may the odds be ever in you favor!
study for your future. study for new opportunities. study for new experiences. study for your purpose. study for yourself.

Being unmotivated is not an excuse.
During these past couple of months, I had this urge of working extremely hard to actually get better at schoolâmy academics. I studied everyday and I worked hard and put every ounce of effort into all of my work. I never let anything slide. When exams came around, I got nervous, I was unmotivated, I was not ready to acknowledge the fact that I was about to sit these exams.Â
When I did, every word I wrote on those pages were not good enough, slowly I felt like everything I worked for in the past couple of month were slipping through my fingertips. I was saddened. Exam after exam I felt myself slowly drifting away, loosing myself to  pieces of paper I prepared my self so hard for. I had nights were I was so sad, and just slept unsoundly. I was sad. Extremely sad. And I knew that when I got my grades back, I wasnât going to get the grades I wantedâand I didnât. I got average grades and there I felt myself feel extremely angry and just unmotivated to do anything after pursuing these exams.Â
My teachers have hope that I will get better grades and that I could easily bump myself up to higher points. They had faith in me, when I didnât. How was I supposed to continue studying if I was feeling unmotivated? If I didnât believe in myself completely?Â
These past couple of months hit me like a ton of bricks. People were getting better grades than me, and to be honest it did bother me. Why? Because I want to feel that satisfaction, that relief to receiving those amazing grades. I want to feel acknowledged, I want to feel like I accomplished something. I want to feel like I am ready to take on the world and its challenges without the feeling that I was not able to accomplish any of the challenges.Â
I pitied myself. I felt sorry for myself.Â
Then came a day, were I woke up and finally realized that feeling sorry for myself, feeling pity for myself, feeling unmotivated, feeling like I am not smart enough, feeling like I am not worth it is not an excuse for me anymore. Those feelings are never going to get me to that top university. The universities are looking for people who can take initiatives, people who are capable of taking control of their own life, people who donât give up that easily, and finally people who donât get unmotivated so easily and keep trying their best even when they are at their worst.Â
That is the kind of personality I need, that is the kind of personality which I will have. I will not stop till I get the grades that I want, I will work my hardest and smartest from now on, I will learn how to prioritize my social life from my school life. I need to learn how to balance. And most importantly I need to learn how to not give up so easily and feel unmotivated so easily. Being unmotivated is not an excuse for me anymore, and nor should it be for you. Being unmotivated wont allow you to get those grades, those accomplishments.Â

first shot of my bujo:)
story time: so the other day, i found a giant spider in my room, and i, being absolutely terrified of spiders, went to my mom to get her to kill it. however, she just told me to kill it myself, so i grabbed a golf club and spent 30 mins trying to will myself into killing the spider, but to no success. when my mom saw me on the verge of tears 30 mins later, she let out the biggest sigh iâve ever heard and had the most disappointed look as she proceeded to kill the spider for me đ gotta love my mom LOL
p.s. thank you to everyone who wished me well after my last post! iâm feeling loads better now:) you guys are all so so sweet i canât đ
Sometimes you need to get real with yourself. Donât pretend those tabs of youtube videos and fanfiction take precedence over that maths homework you need to get done. Donât tell yourself youâll get up early and do it, because chances are, your alarms will go off and youâll snooze it automatically. Then right before the dreaded fourth period you will be stressed to no end and youâll feel the feeling. You know, the feeling. When you can genuinely feel the list of tasks and responsibilities build up on your shoulders. That stationery will do nothing to save your grades if you donât actually use it to make your revision materials. Donât click onto youtube as a study break and find that 3 hours and only 4 pages of reading later, the glare of the screen gets a little blurry when you look at the time and look at your to do list with your priorities highlighted. I donât care how much self control you think you have, or how much discipline you think youâve honed, because when you make the decision to put of work that needs to get done and youâre relying on this new found immense self discipline that future you will just suddenly obtain, you know youâve already lost. And itâs a double loss because not only have you lost to laziness and short term âhappinessâ, future you has lost to stress and possibly even not getting the grades or the qualifications you couldâve gotten that wouldâve led you to take the path youâve wanted to take. So please, for the love of your future self, get it done now.Â

Hi guys! Hereâs a little masterpost of quotes from childrenâs books that you can use in your bullet journal, or anywhere else you feel like!
THE LITTLE PRINCE (ANTOINE DE SAINT-EXUPĂRY)
âIt is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.â
âThe most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or touched, they are felt with the heart.â
âYou become responsible forever for what youâve tamed.âÂ
âYou - you alone will have the stars as no one else has themâŚIn one of the stars I shall be living. In one of them I shall be laughing. And so it will be as if all the stars were laughing, when you look at the sky at nightâŚYou - only you - will have stars that can laugh.â
âGrown-ups never understand anything by themselves, and it is tiresome for children to be always and forever explaining things to themâ
âA rock pile ceases to be a rock pile the moment a single man contemplates it, bearing within him the image of a cathedral.âÂ
A LITTLE PRINCESS (FRANCES HODGSON BURNETT)
âIf I am a princess in rags and tatters, I can be a princess inside. It would be easy to be a princess if I were dressed in cloth of gold, but it is a great deal more of a triumph to be one all the time when no one knows it.â
âWhen you will not fly into a passion people know you are stronger than they are, because you are strong enough to hold in your rage, and they are not, and they say stupid things they wish they hadnât said afterward. â
âThereâs nothing so strong as rage, except what makes you hold it inâthatâs stronger. Itâs a good thing not to answer your enemies.â
âIf nature has made you for a giver, your hands are born open, and so is your heart; and though there may be times when your hands are empty, your heart is always full, and you can give things out of thatâwarm things, kind things, sweet thingsâhelp and comfort and laughterâand sometimes gay, kind laughter is the best help of all.â
âSomehow, something always happens just before things get to the very worst. It is as if Magic did it. If I could only just remember that always. The worse thing never quite comes.â
âBut I suppose there might be good in things, even if we donât see it.â
âYou donât forget, but you bear it better.âÂ
LITTLE WOMEN (LOUISA MAY ALCOTT)
âI am not afraid of storms, for I am learning how to sail my ship.â
âItâs wicked to throw away so many good gifts because you canât have the one you want.â
âLove is a great beautifier.âÂ
âWatch and pray, dear, never get tired of trying, and never think it is impossible to conquer your fault.â
âI want to do something splendidâŚsomething heroic or wonderful that wonât be forgotten after Iâm dead. I donât know what, but Iâm on the watch for it and mean to astonish you all someday.âÂ
âConceit spoils the finest genius.âÂ
âBe comforted, dear soul! There is always light behind the clouds.â
âLife and love are very precious when both are in full bloom.â
âThe only chivalry worth having is that which is the readiest to to pay deference to the old, protect the feeble, and serve womankind, regardless of rank, age, or color.â
âBooks are always good company if you have the right sort.â
âThe humblest tasks get beautified if loving hands do them.â
âNow and then, in this workaday world, things do happen in the delightful storybook fashion, and what a comfort that is.â
MATLIDA (ROALD DAHL)
âSo Matildaâs strong young mind continued to grow, nurtured by the voices of all those authors who had sent their books out into the world like ships on the sea. These books gave Matilda a hopeful and comforting message: You are not alone.âÂ
âNever do anything by halves if you want to get away with it. Be outrageous. Go the whole hog. Make sure everything you do is so completely crazy itâs unbelievableâŚâÂ
âI have found it impossible to talk to anyone about my problems. I couldnât face the embarrassment, and anyway I lack the courage. Any courage I had was knocked out of me when I was young. But now, all of sudden I have a sort of desperate wish to tell everything to somebody.â
âIâve always said to myself that if a little pocket calculator can do it why shouldnât I?â
âThere is little point in teaching anything backwards. The whole object of life, Headmistress, is to go forwards.â
âIâm afraid men are not always quite as clever as they think they are.â
THE PHANTOM TOLLBOOTH (NORTON JUSTER)
âSo many things are possible just as long as you donât know theyâre impossible.â
âHave you ever heard the wonderful silence just before the dawn? Or the quiet and calm just as a storm ends? Or perhaps you know the silence when you havenât the answer to a question youâve been asked, or the hush of a country road at night, or the expectant pause of a room full of people when someone is just about to speak, or, most beautiful of all, the moment after the door closes and youâre alone in the whole house? Each one is different, you know, and all very beautiful if you listen carefully.â
âTime is a gift, given to you, given to give you the time you need, the time you need to have the time of your life. â
âYou must never feel badly about making mistakes ⌠as long as you take the trouble to learn from them. For you often learn more by being wrong for the right reasons than you do by being right for the wrong reasons.â
âThe most important reason for going from one place to another is to see whatâs in between.â
âWhat you can do is often simply a matter of what you will do.â
âWhat you learn today, for no reason at all, will help you discover all the wonderful secrets of tomorrow.â
âWhatever we learn has a purpose and whatever we do affects everything and everyone else, if even in the tiniest way.â
THE GOLDEN COMPASS (PHILIP PULLMAN)
âYou cannot change what you are, only what you do.â
âWe are all subject to the fates. But we must act as if we are not, or die of despair.â
âEvery opportunity will come again.â

A summary of Bangtan MVs
No More Dream: The rebellious Jin drives a school bus into a stack of empty cardboard boxes. Jimin has nice abs
N.O: BTS doesnât want to go to school
Boy in Luv: Jimin sneaks a peek at Jungkookâs dick and neither of them wash their hands
Just One Day: Taehyungâs deep ass voice
Danger: Jungkook destroys a perfectly good piano for no apparent reason. Taehyung cuts his actual hair
War of Hormones: Bangtan lowkey creeping on some chick
Dope: An unlikely group of friends with seemingly random professions bond over their shitty girlfriends
I Need U: Some significant stuff happens but no one really knows what. Weâre pretty sure itâs sad though
Run: LITERALLY WHO IS DEAD
Young Forever: Bighit compiles clips of previous MVs in an attempt to answer all our questions. Groundbreaking
Fire: Suga sets a man on fire with pure swag. Taehyung irons Jin. Nobody stops him
Save Me: The long awaited MV that would finally answer all our questions and wrap up the entire HYYH series: BTS dances in a field
Blood Sweat and Tears: Jungkook licks candle wax like he doesnât think heâs still a fetus. We have a mid-song intermission so Namjoon can speak English for a solid minute and a half. Suddenly the entire fandom is Jimin-biased
Spring Day: BTS sing on the worldâs biggest pile of dirty laundry
Not Today: BTS run away from their problems. Taehyung looks damn good in a headband
