well, life happened. 🤬🫠 i am doing very well, nothing to worry about, but unfortunately unforeseen circumstances have been interfering with my ability to sit down and focus on writing the fic since... ooofff.. last spring 💀😭 thanks to the buffer i had built up, i was still able to keep weekly updates going until this last august, when i stopped even that. i want to apologize to my readers for dropping off the face of the planet without any notice after planning to keep to a regular schedule 😭 i will definitely not make any promises like that again until i'm sure i can uphold them.

you guys have been so fucking sweet and supportive. please know that your comments have meant the absolute world to me, i treasure every one, they've been so motivating. i am absolutely dying to get back to writing and sharing my story with you, and i continue to be floored and honored to have been found by the best readers anyone could ask for. 😮‍💨🙏🏻💗

YES i'm so sorry so. good news / bad news!! 👏🏻

the bad news is i have still not started back up work on the story, and am scared to get ahead of myself with any promises / ambitions for that until i actually crack that baby open and it starts rolling along again.

the good news is, i still have enough of a buffer to start up uploads again anyway. 🫠 so there will be a new chapter up by the end of today, once i get the chance to get on my PC, and more will follow in the coming months. hopefully by the time i've uploaded everything i have, i will have new chapters written, and won't have to interrupt the story flow for so long again. FINGERS CROSSED.

i'm so excited. vibes are pretty different from a change of plans ngl. no relation, totally separate versions of the characters, universe etc. updates might be inconsistent, still mostly focused on a change of plans, but also might drop a few chapters at once sometimes cause they'll be more snack sized, like 2-3k instead of the 5-9k chonkers i've been doing, so that's fun. super excited for the alternating POV and the chance to explore some other relationships. i think some people might really dig this and some people might rly hate me for it... maybe some of the same people if i'm really lucky LOL.

first three chapters are already up and tiny spoiler alert... first one's rochelle's POV 😈

so i got distracted halfway through drawing this and uh.. accidentally ended up writing a tiny frouis fluff piece based on it. 🤦

it's literally 100% dialogue, all lowercase, just like 485 words lol. it's silly but i put it up anyway if anyone would like to read it.
