I’ve gotten good at doing pointless things

Writing chemical reactions,

Mira writes poetry, people would think out of any of the HUNTR/X members Zoey would be the one to write poetry, but something about it just speaks to Mira. Sometimes during breaks while making the choreography for their new song, in the empty of the studio she just gets hit with inspiration. Mira will write about the dances, the lights in the studio, the snacks and water her girls left her. She’s written free verse, haiku, and visual poetry. The feelings she can’t quite put into dance, she puts into poems. Mira has a notebook filled with love poems to Zoey and Rumi, that one gets the most added to it. She knows she could show Rumi and Zoey, but she tried showing her parents once and let’s just say she had a bad experience. Despite this Mira decided that she will show them one day because she knows they love her.

Rumi is into photography. It came as a surprise to Mira and Zoey, that the beautiful photos around Celine’s house are from Rumi. (The Rumi who focused almost purely on being a hunter had a hobby). Celine is the one who got Rumi into photography, Rumi was ten when she realized the weight those jagged patterns on her arm held. Celine hated seeing Rumi like this and had Rumi take photos of all the most beautiful imperfect flowers and plants she could find. Celine did this to try and help Rumi see that it’s who she is that makes her beautiful not what is “separate” from her (the patterns) on the outside. Rumi continued to take photos, slowly getting better and better. Rumi only ever hung up the photos she took of perfect things, maybe if she surrounded herself with things that are perfect it would hide her mistake. Plus she can take the mirrors in her room down under the excuse of putting more photos up. After they made the new Honmoon, Rumi takes more photos of the imperfect, and finds it more beautiful than perfection ever was. Although her favorites are still the ones she has of Mira and Zoey.

Online school, 

Two people per group, 

I can’t remember what you said, 

Something like,

“We should talk more, 

do you want to be friends?”

Of course, I said,

You sent a message the next day,

I never responded,

I don’t know why,

What would be different,

If I had answered,

It’s been 6 years,

And 2 states,

Would we still talk?

Would we make jokes?

Would we be close?

Are you as lonely as I am?

Are you still asking others?

I don’t remember you face,

I don’t remember your name,

I rarely draw so I was kinda weird to wake up with the the urge to draw

I couldn’t really remember all the details

it was a room I’ve never been in before, which is unusual for my dreams

the doors had glowing light pouring out of them

there was lots of stuff on the tables but I don’t know exactly what

there was that drying flower on the wall I remember that perfectly

The phone was important, it wasn’t a normal smartphone and I can’t remember what type of phone, but I know for a fact it was a phone

it might have been a basement all the walls and floor were stone

I was running from someone and I was going in and out of houses in the neighborhood looking for help but every one I came across worked for him

I ran into this room and there was a person there (I don’t remember what they looked like) sitting in a pink chair

I remember that I asked to borrow their phone to call the police

they looked so sad when they handed me the phone

because they knew I hadn’t realized yet

demons to my understanding are dead, they don’t age and they don’t bleed, so their bodies wouldn’t heal themselves

so imagine Rumi taking twice as long to heal from small things

A paper cut that should heal in a few days takes a week

and a scrapped knee lingers for much longer than it should

this also adds to the angst of Rumi hiding

Rumi gets hit in the arm during a hunt and has to play off the wound because she can’t let Mira and Zoey help (because of the patterns)

I want to hear a rhyme about Covid or the state of the world that is a fun tune but then if you pay attention to the lyrics you feel a sense of unease

I want to hear a rhyme about global warming filled with warnings and calls for help while kids mimic choking on smog after doing the accompanying little dance or something

like for years everyone is in awe of how perfect the dyeing is done and no one has ever seen her roots

and then after fighting gwi-ma Zoey like jokingly asks if Rumi has any more secrets that they should know about

and Rumis just like I don’t dye my hair

I think that Rumi can perfectly replicate voices, like she just has to hear them say a couple of sentences and she can perfectly imitate them speaking, singing, yelling anything

Like think how the demons copied Mira and Zoey at the idol awards minus the shape shifting

2. Zoey will pick up any and all bugs that she can (before the turtle obsession it was bugs),

Rumi will also pick up some bugs but draws the line at like 45% of them,

Mira hates bugs if one of the girls has a bug or there’s one in the room she will not go near it with a five foot pole (although she acts like she’s not scared of them). If you have a closed fist and tell her to put her hand out she will assume bug.

3. Rumi was homeschooled, Celine was worried that child Rumi would accidentally reveal her patterns so Rumi was taught by Celine and tutors ( meaning when she met the girls she was horribly awkward and didn’t know how to interact with them) think so detached from others she hasn’t spoken to anyone her own age in literal years

Zoey went to public school (I think this is less of a headcanon and more canon tho) I think she would skate home from school everyday and stop at a pet store to look at the animals (to the point where a worker thought she worked there, she helped restock the shelves anyway)

Mira went to private school (rich family), she had to wear a uniform but would push or just flat out break the dress code to make it more stylish. I also think that she would get home as late as she possibly could (with detours like spray painting- also I think she would paint only moving things like trains or cars so her art could be carried around)

4. Rumi can purr (yes I have fallen for the purring Rumi propaganda no regrets) she does so unconsciously whether awake or asleep.

There has been a couple of times where she is cuddling with Mira and Zoey and she starts purring, she always plays it off as her phone buzzing and runs

(this also adds to her slowly closing herself off from the girls because she doesn’t want to risk revealing herself so she stops physical contact)

5. When Rumi was younger she and Celine would make origami, animals, flowers, anything and everything. So now if she’s not doing anything she just kind of absentmindedly makes things. Whether it’s with a pad of sticky notes near her or a wrapper of some kind.

she likes give them to Mira and Zoey. Zoey decorates her room with them naming each and every animal, Mira keeps hers in a box hidden in a drawer (she admires them sometimes but she would never admit that)

6. Mira can solve a rubix cube in under a minute but it is purely muscle memory, if you ask her to show you how she can’t.

7. Zoey uses her shin kal for anything like cutting fruit, chopping her bangs (the girls don’t speak of that day), helping her do her eyeliner, or even using the blunt side to hit the light switch when she doesn’t want to get up.

I realize most of these are just fanon at this point but I still wanted to make this
